If we hear & see the interviews of all music directors & singers then one thing is remarkable that no body praises Kumar Sanu, why? Recently i saw an interview of Abhijeet Bhattacharya on Lehren Retro channel on which he is saying, "Jinko music & singing ka koi knowledge nahi hota wo Kumar Sanu ko pasand karte hain." In another interview he is saying "Mera favourite singer jab bhi mujhse poochoge to main Udit Narayan ka naam lunga". I've also seen Sonu Nigam praising Udit Narayan so many times in multiple events and platforms saying that only two male singers have the most beautiful voice in bollywood, one is Rafi Saheb and second is Udit Narayan'. but he never praises Kumar Sanu. Even I have heard Amitabh Bachchan praising Udit Narayan in KBC serial, but he never praised Kumar Sanu. During the recording of the songs of the film Refugee, Amitabh Bachchan asked Anu Malik to remove Kumar Sanu's song from the film & he demanded a fresh & original voice for his son Abhishek. Once upon a time Bhushan Kumar also snatched the songs of Deewana album from Kumar Sanu and he gave it to Sonu Nigam. He alleged that Kumar Sanu cannot sing in high scale, high notes & fast motion song. How can it be possible that so many people are enemies of Kumar Sanu? Shreya Ghoshal told in Indian Idol stage that 'her ideal singer is Udit Narayan & she was blessed to sing with her Ideal'. And u see today Lalit Pandit is also saying Udit Narayan's voice quality is priceless. Relevent to Kumar Sanu he's saying 'Kishore Kumar ke clone to 10-12 hain lekin Kushore Kumar ke aas paas bhi koi nahi hai. Kaun singer kaisa gaa sakta tha ye hum music directors ko achi tarah maloom hai.' He is also saying 'Kumar Sanu se bahut jyada behtar singer Sonu Nigam hain.' Even Nadeem Saifi told in an audio interview that 'today I am regretting that I offered so many songs to Kumar Sanu.' It's very surprising & shocking that nobody giving respect to Kumar Sanu, why? I don't understand how Kumar Sanu had enmity with so many people or do these people enjoy speaking badness of Kumar Sanu?

No, Lalitji is correct. Yashji passed away in 2012..., Dum laga ke was released in 2015. So quoting Dum Laga Ke as an example is pointless.
Lalit's point was - as long as Yashji was active in YRF films, Sanu da sang very few songs for those films. Darr movie by YRF was released when Sanu da was at his peak, but most songs in Darr (all superhit) were sung by Uditji and Abhijeet da. Everybody have their taste. I just think Yashji preferred Uditji's voice/singing.

Despite the rift with Yash Chopra, Kumar Sanu was called back by his son, Aditya Chopra, to sing for "Dum Laga ke Haisha", in which Sanu was an icon. For the first time in the history of YRF films, Kumar Sanu's voice was played showing their logo instead of Lata Mangeshkar. So, Kumar Sanu is a legend.

10:25 "आंखों में क्या इस दिल से पूछो जरा" यह गाना कुमार सानु जी ने गाया है। आजकल हर इंटरव्यू में ललित पंडित जी कुमार सानू जी की बुराई करने पर लगे हैं कि सानू जी डरकर भाग गए थे। ललित जी ये भूल गए हैं कि उस समय कुमार सानू का दौर चल रहा था उनके अलावा किसी और से आप लोग खुद भी नहीं गवाते। सोनू निगम जी तो उस वक्त साल भर में 1-2 गाने ही गा पाते थे और संघर्ष कर रहे थे उस वक़्त वो ज्यादतर टी-सीरीज के गानों की डबिंग ही करते थे।

Voice quality matters a lot for singer even more than his tallent. Voice quality of Udit Narayan was much beautiful than other singers in his era, that's why Udit Narayan got more songs then Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Sukhwinder & Vinod. Just like Alka Yagnik did the same in female category. In the female section, Alka Yagnik had the most beautiful voice that's why she got more songs than Anuradha, Kavita, Sadhna, etc. The whole thing is " voice quality ". A beautiful voice matters more than your talent.

Udit and Sonu are easily way more talented than Kumar Sanu they're way more versatile and the reason why they've had a way longer career Sanu having sung so many songs never managed to win a national award whereas Sonu and udit have won multiple national awards .

After DDLJ , Sanu da sang for Yash RAJ Dum Laga ke Haisa......not only the song ....Yash Raj Film gave him respect by using his voice (he is probably the only singer apart from Lata Mangeskar) in the beginning of film replacing Lata ji's voice (which generally used in every Yash Raj film).......Lalit Ji sahi nahi bol rahen hai.....
No, Lalitji is correct. Yashji passed away in 2012..., Dum laga ke was released in 2015. So quoting Dum Laga Ke as an example is pointless.
Lalit's point was - as long as Yashji was active in YRF films, Sanu da sang very few songs for those films. Darr movie by YRF was released when Sanu da was at his peak, but most songs in Darr (all superhit) were sung by Uditji and Abhijeet da. Everybody have their taste. I just think Yashji preferred Uditji's voice/singing.

Lalit Pandit is totally wrong.. Kumar Sanu has acknowledged several times in the interviews about Jatin-Lalit's compositions but I think Lalit Pandit is very selfish person. A song become's hit with everyone's effort. Composer is definitely important as they made the tune but singer's are also important. Otherwise, Laitji could have sung "Tujhe Dekha To Yeh Jana Sanam". So everyone should be humble. Yes, if kumar sanu hasn't told much about jatin lalit then that might hurt them but it doesn't mean that the song is only of composer's.
And he told everyone left reharshal of Khamoshi's song "Aankhon Mein Kya" as the song was tough as per Lalit Ji. But to surprise, this song has been sung by Kumar Sanu so beautifully.

ललित पंडित जी बहुत ज्यादा अगेंस्ट बोल रहे हैं आजकल कुमार सानू जी के. जबकि सानू जी ने खुद अपने इंटरव्यू में यह बात कबूल की है कि केवल उनकी गायकी ही नहीं उसके साथ म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर और लिरिक्स राइटर ने अच्छा गाना बनाने में बहुत मदद की है. सानू जी ने यह भी बोला कि किसी को भी हिट करने का काम पब्लिक का होता है यही बनाते हैं और यही बिगाड़ते हैं. अब इतना नाम कमाने के बाद भी इस तरह कि गलत बयानबाजी करके ललित पंडित जी अपना खुद का नाम खराब करने पर लगे हैं.

Kumar Sanu said in many interviews his toughest song is akhonmein me kya of Khamoshi. But you should think that Kumar Sanu used to sing a song in 30 minutes in average. In the same day he used to sing minimum 7 to 8 songs. Sonu Nigam sang the song abhi of Agneepath in several attemts. I have seen in all interviews or TV appearances of Kumar where he said song is collaboration effect of Lyricist, music director and singer.
