- It's all in the Buy! Deals are out there. We were looking to buy an RV or 5th wheel. It needs a light cleaning inside & outside, and brake work. Less than 30,000 original miles and runs. Follow up videos below, click 'SHOW MORE'.

Our payment and utilities are super low, and we have no debt. We are not materialistic and we both have lived a frugal lifestyle all our life. We are doing this in steps. We have a little over a 2-year plan. We are going to try and share each step. This is just one of the beginning steps.
I Bought a 89 model Winnebago for $500 last summer and the transmission is shot, but at 64,000 miles it's like brand new inside and everything works perfectly except the old TV. So rather than spending a bunch of money on it i opted to just setting it up and renting it out to vacationers. I Live in a popular vacation spot very close to the beach and i'll let them pay for my new rebuilt transmission. A lot of people say these are junk or whatever but if it works for you and it gives you pleasure for your Family, it doesn't matter what anybody says. Enjoy yourself and enjoy being with your family...because in this life only your Family counts, because the rest of the World will always let you down or try to discourage you because they are losers and enjoy company in their misery. Enjoy your new treasure, fix it up like you want it and have a nice time on the cheap.
Thanks for the kind words. True life is short, and we do what makes us happy, we never have followed the crowd, or fall in the trap of what the rest of the world is suppose to be doing, that has been driven in their heads. We just do our own thing. Thanks for watching,
Tom Cook Very intelligent. This is a life l wish l had chosen. Now my health at 49years won't allow it. Turning 50 will be a miracle. Go friends and enjoy your beautiful life😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Tom Cook how much to fix the transmission?
how much to change the transmission?
Great find!! Take your time getting it fixed!
My grandparents had theirs parked in the driveway when they weren't underway on the road. All the grandkids loved camping out in when we'd come for a visit. You got this for a steal.. $500 doesn't get you two nights in a hotel in NYC.
Brad Thompson, it sounds like they all had a good time when they visited and all the good memory's they have, are priceless. Thanks for watching.
Carry parts in the stowage compartment. Radiator hoses, belts, inline fuel pump, fuel line, alternator and U-joints... You will be GLAD you did.
Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching.
THE part u need is the part u didn't pack!!🔩🔧🔩
Great deal! What fun! We got one for $300, but, it needs way too much, so, probably going to be looking again, home we find something like you did! Enjoy!
Thanks, I have a feeling the next one you buy, will be at a great price and doesn't need any repairs. Thanks for watching : )
@Viata Verde paper
I would never never would I buy a brand new RV or bus like I said minutes you walk drive off that lot you've already lost $20,000 I mean seriously that's just like a car they did the government rapes us and that's just the truth.
We agree 100% with you. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
I want to buy an rv but I'm not.quite sure where to buy a decent and affordable one 🤷 i cant help but think of a dealership!
Same with any vehicle...I always buy used & pay it off quick or just pay cash. There has served me pretty well
Hello, that was a nice price, as you see by my lil photo on my profile I like RV's, I just got one end of last yr for free and could have had abother one a week ago, the one I took is a 93 Pace Arrow 34ft w/460 eng w/50k miles, the wife and I live in a 79 5th wheel for past 8yrs, I put more house like than camper insde..I watched a video of someone that bought a 500.00 RV and it turned out to be one that I had seen on craig's list, I kicked my butt after I seen his video because it was an airstream that ran great and did not ever leak, womans husband died and she wanted rid of it...enjoy your RV folks...
WOW FOR $500 😳😳😳😳I WOULD LOVE TO FIND ME ONE OF THIS RV ITS BEAUTIFUL I WANT TO LIVE FULL TIME IN ONE .IM GONNA BE HUNTING FOR ONE .AMEN ENJOY IT LOVELY RV😊😊😊😊
Susana Covarrubios, Thanks, Good luck on your hunt. You will find the perfect RV at a good price. A good plan to live in one full time, best of luck and thanks for watching :)
For what it is, that's a pretty damn good deal. If you wanted to put about five grand into it, you could probably sell it for $20k or more. Low mileage and lack of the place being trashed is key. A little clean up, sealing, maybe some internal upgrades like newer AC, some exterior finishing, and a fine-tuning of the drive train and you've got a winner.
Thanks for the pointers and for watching.
+Peddling Profits Great deal! Ignore the ignorant trolls. There is not much that wouldn't be worth $500 with the price of parts today. You really got it for free.
Thanks @2wheelsR2Wheels and thanks for watching.
Trolls in our opinion are not happy about themselves, it's their job to try to make others feel bad or angry. We read their posts and laugh and crack up at their comments :)
MrJest2 Awesomeness!😀
2022 bought a 1994 Winnebago Adventurer 34RA for $4,500 and drove it almost 2000 miles home to Florida. Was well cared for by previous owners and tons of receipts and documentation for everything down to the Onan 6500 generator. Shame here they have a 10 year or newer rule in RV parks even though it more than likely is built better than newer to still look so fresh. Only thing that needs replaced is the old cassette radio entertainment system out by the door but would upgrade it even if it still worked.
Sounds like a good deal. It use to be 20 years or newer at the RV parks, did not realize they changed it. Thank you for taking the time to watch, we appreciate it. Have fun in your 1994 Winnebago Adventurer. Maybe you can camp at State parks instead at RV parks :) It's usually more economical too.
Lol ours is similar to tht and it's been sitting for 10yrs and today I just got it started by myself and I'm 16 and my big sis douted me a whole bunch of times and so did my dad but I showed him and he was happy af and laughing :)
That is awesome glad to hear you got it running. Thanks for taking the time to watch
Have you done anything else with it?
Congratulations on your awesome purchase and use it in good health!

Thank you for the kind words hayesman76
A $500 motor home that runs!?Its super hard to find an economy car that runs for that! No brainer I would buy it and make a lot of loot on it.
Thanks for taking the time to watch
If nothing else the motorhome allows you to stop where it dies and make dinner and sleep while you work on a plan B.
@@bobbysolo5411 lol thanks for taking the time to watch
People dont realize that if it was free you might not want it.
Even if they pay you to take it you may not want it.
Those things can be a nightmare to restore.
At least it runs good.
The motor and transmission being in good shape is a big deal because you can recoup your five hundred bucks if need be.
I think it was a good purchase.
Thanks and thanks for taking the time to watch @Ronald Moorer
I wish a miracle like this would happen to me right now
Miracles usually happen when you least expect it :)
Think positive. Live Happy. Great find for the money spent.
Thank you for the kind words. The only way to think is positive : ) Thanks for watching
Fricken scored!!👍
Thanks for watching : )
That is absurd. Did you KNOW the people you bought it from? I spent months and months looking for one and couldn't get anywhere near a price like that. I ended up spending $2500 for something pretty much identical to what you bought there.
Thanks for watching. If you check FB Market Place/Craigslist you can get one at a good price, in the late fall, winter months. We live in NE Ohio.
500 and a little bit of work to it can't beat that.
Thanks for watching, we were thinking the same thing.
Just Found you on Kajun Johnny's looking forward to your content
Wow, my motorcycle outdoor camping lifestyle gear is more than $500, you are so lucky~
Thanks, having good outdoor camping lifestyle gear is worth every bit of money you spent on it. Thanks for watching
It’s very nice I hope you have a lot of fun in it . You got a great deal .2 thumbs up
Thanks for the kind word @marionYulo and thank you for watching.
Got my 91, Pace Arrow 32 for free. But I had to pull the gas tank, clean it, replace the fuel pump and tires. So I'll have around $2K in it.
That is not too bad at all. I say you got a great deal. Thanks for watching.
Your blessed a lot of people would love to live in it that have nothing to live in think about it .
We agree, placeholder name, and we believe that helping others is one of the most important thing you will ever do in your life. Thanks for watching.
Amazing deal!
Thanks Jim Rr and thanks for watching.
If love to see what you've done with it now. What a great deal! That's awesome
We haven't done anything with it, cleaned and swept inside. Waiting on warmer weather to arrive so mechanic can put new brake lines on.
You all just got a pot of gold the rainbow showed you that, enjoy your find.
Unfortunate for us bruneian for not having these marvelous motorhomes. It would be a great family time together going anywhere we like in the weekends. It looks fun too.
Definitely more family and fun times ahead. Thanks for watching : )

That a good deal !! Where can I find such a deal help me please?
Are u kidding me? $500! I can’t even buy a ragged out one here for less than $2500 that is not running/ runs on starter fluid and tires off the rims. Oh I did find one for $850 that runs and drives but it’s pretty much gutted and ceiling leaks like hell
awesome score very cool I recently inherited a 1987 Fleetwood bounder also 34 foot I love mine I hope you enjoy yours
Thanks, I bet your 1987 Fleetwood is awesome. Did you happen to put any videos up on youtube so we can check it out? Thanks for taking the time to watch

It's worth $10k as it sits. . Very good deal
How is it doing today??
now that it's 2021 I would be interested to know if you still have the RV and if so... how much have you spent on it in repairs?!

Thanks for the kind words, and for watching.

Please steady the camera... not only do I have motion sickness I didn’t see anything. But it seems you got a good deal.
Man U could take it apart and build 1 nice van or cargo trailer with it. I would be scared to take off very far with it
Everything is in working order, except brakes lines need replaced.
Transmission will go out next....
l justa bought a shasta motorhome which literally looks likes yours looks beautiful!!

Sweet deal!!!!!
Thanks Oc4ever12 and thanks for watching.
Looks like a good deal but what's with the kazoo?
The camera in the phone has a bad microphone it's a Galaxy S 5. It's a common problem with this phone. We have to find something else to upload a video. Thanks for watching.

Wow. Jow nice
Thanks and thanks for watching
It's a sale at $500 since it's in pretty good shape. Granted, the transmission is a challenge but if everything worked, then it wouldn't be a bargain. Nice find!
Thanks for watching and the kind words.
Wow what a steal/deal, lol
Thanks for taking the time to watch
Road Noise seems to be a bit loud!!
there's a lot more to purchasing an RV than its looks, good luck on your motor home
Thanks for the kind words and watching.
Just 500 where can I find this at
Lol they are inspecting it like its there first purchase like really for 500 bucks just give them the money and get it home why do you need to go over it so much its pretty clean and it runs what more do you want . You cant even get a car in that shape for 500 bucks i would be fltying out of there before the owner changes their mind
We wanted to make sure the inside of the RV wasn't torn up, and didn't have any leaks, and we wanted to make sure the engine wasn't blown. No matter what the cost, or year of an RV. If we have to sink a ton of money into it, we weren't going to buy it. Thanks for watching sportster davidson.
@sportster davidson
Because an RV with leaks are worthless. No one wants them and you've basically gotta pay someone to take it. Tearing down walls, insulation, cabinets, etc. is a TON of work to replace damaged/moldy wood. Most of those older RV's are only worth around 5k even in pristine condition, so if you have to start sinking thousands of dollars in repairs, that doesn't make any sense since it'll be worth less than the amount you spent in repairs. So yes, no matter how cheap an RV is, an inspection is a must. I've seen youtubers doing inspections on FREE RV's before because again, they don't want to spend months on repairs and thousands of dollars.
Yep, at $500 and it runs, I'd pretty much treat the deal like a smuggler and get on down the road and THEN check it out. I mean, make sure there's no bodies hidden inside, but like counting your money at the table, just take the deal and haul.
@@seawarrior13 For 500 bucks I can do any repairs I need. That's a steal. I see what your saying for someone trying to buy and flip RVs but someone like me who is dying to get out of the rent trap and own something for myself, that would a very good buy for me.
As long as it runs and no water damage $500 is almost the heist of the century. I'd take it!
CUANDO TENGAN UNO A ESE PRECIO AVICEN GRACIAS

I NEED to live this lifestyle on top of wanting to. Single mom FTW. Please where can I find something similar?

Thanks for your opinion, trust me we will do fine with it. :) lol. Thanks for watching.
Even came with sheets already on the bed!
Lol, it did , but we will be using our own sheets.
If there is a roof leak on these older rv the bathroom 1st it usually starts
There is no leaks, but we will keep an eye in the bathroom for leaks. Thanks for the advice and taking the time to watch.
@@tzuten We know what to look for, we didn't just fall off the turnip truck, lol
Lucky buggers, i cant find rv's looking that good for under $2000. All the ones i find are junk. Your very lucky.
I like to travel some day again with my husband
Beulah Reinhardt make plans and do it : ) Thanks for watching.
New rubber roof
New awning
New tires
Engine tune up , carburetor rebuild , oil changed
New batteries
Air conditioners service
Generator service
Plumbing problems / leaks repairs
These all add up.
One of my friends bought one of these money pits.
It did NOT run , had the 454 Chevy engine in it.
Had to tow it home with s strap and a 1 ton pickup , I was the one that had to steer and stop it.
Those systems run off the power steering pump ....which wasn't running.
Got it to his house okay without problems 10 miles away.
I had to use both feet on the brake pedal to stop the huge thing.
Arms were sore from turning the steering wheel without power assist.
It's still sitting in his yard.
Don't think he's going to fix it either.
A big waste of money
Thanks, hopefully the cost to maintain will be low, but with anything used you have to be prepared for unexpected costs. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the warning. What is your opinion on putting a different motor in it?
Well , if you can find another good running engine out of a truck like a 2 or 3 or 5 ton commercial truck then it might be cheaper to do the swap."
It depends on what is wrong with it.
That same friend of mine is a truck mechanic.
The engine has to come out through the front grille with a cherry picker engine hoist , No there is no other way.
It's NOT a job for the faint of heart.
Otherwise it may be cheaper and quicker to fix what is wrong with the one you got while the engine is in it.
Pulling the cylinder heads is not an easy task either.
Thanks for the response. Nothing wrong with engine, thought maybe a more efficient engine and carburetor. Sounds like we are better to keep what we have and repair along the way as needed.
But what about the year and model what year is it and can it be parked RV parking lot that would be a concern for those that don't have their own property.
subrina peavy, a lot of RV parks/lots don't want older RVs, but other will if the RV is kept up and looks nice. You would have to check with the rules at each place. Thanks for watching.
Dang, it’s got a little sink!
When you are looking.....you will find them!
This is true, thanks for taking the time to watch.
It looks like you got a good deal I'm sure there are some money a little money you're going to have to put into up and my God you know you you got lucky
We had to get tires :)
At least you do have a plan,
We usually have a plan, but sometimes not having a plan leads to some very interesting opportunities. Thanks for watching.
Where could I get such an affordable home like this
We would suggest you looking on Craigslist, local buy sell trade groups on facebook and at auctions, Thanks for taking the time to watch.
Love it got old Toyota rv on our channel
Wow your Toyota RV looks pretty nice. Thanks for watching.

Thanks@Oscar Walton for the info and for taking the time to watch.
wow. did it come with magic beans
Thanks for watching
Wow you stole it for $500
Thanks, and thanks for watching.
How is it holding up after a few years?
Holding up good :)
$500 is great deal if roof doesn't leak
The roof doesn't leak :) It needs some brake work. Found a local retired RV mechanic of 22 years that will fix anything for 1/3 of the price most mechanics are charging.
John Taylor onlooking for 1
You will find a good deal, keep on looking. Thanks for watching.
John Taylor Roof leaks are usually very easy to repair.

Wear did you get a Rv for $500 I looking for one to buy
We bought it in North Eastern Ohio. Thanks for taking the time to watch @Junior DeSantana
Holy Nokia
Lol, thanks for taking the time to watch.
Seems for 500 bucks you two were so very picky on it the age as in looking for perfect.
We weren't picky, we wanted to make sure the inside of the RV wasn't torn up, and didn't have any leaks, and we wanted to make sure the engine wasn't blown. No matter what the cost, or year of an RV. If we have to sink a ton of money into it, we weren't going to buy it. That's common sense, not picky.
Peddling Profits trust me when I tell you that thing is had leaks they all have leaks , especially one in that vintage if it didn't have any leaks that guy would have been asking about two or three thousand dollars for it minimum
@@dbz739921 nope they needed money fast

CJ Andrews u can try Craig's list , are salvation army auctions , that is a house on weels ,

How can I buy one for cheap
Try facebook marketplace, and facebook buy sell swap groups, you can also post a ISO (in search of) with your price range, you might be surprised of the prices in your area. Try Craiglist, and local auctions too. Off season the prices drop. Check daily and eventually you will find one. Wishing you good luck in your search. Thanks for watching.
👍
So what's it look like today ?
Looks the same. Waiting on warmer weather to do anything with it. Mechanic that is going to put new brake lines on, wants to do it when the weather becomes warmer.
You may need to do the fuel lines and a new fuel pump. The gas we use these days, will cause those lines to rust out in a few months.
Thanks for the advice and watching
that's why he 1/3 the price of a real mechanic haha
Thanks for your opinion and watching, billy greenhorn.

I see. Are you driving this rv yet? How much did you spend on what repairs to make it roadworthy?
Waiting on warmer weather to do anything with it. Mechanic that is going to put new brake lines on, wants to do it when the weather becomes warmer. We will let everyone know what that cost, when it happens. We will be buying a battery for it. That is all we need to do so far that we know of to make it road worthy.
What state is this in?
Ohio, thanks for watching.
