Ice Ice Baby - Breaking Ice with KingFisher Falcon 1825

Today, Tuesday, January 18th, 2021 Matt and I needed to go into town to move some of our interior cedar and pine from our contractors shop to our indoor storage facility. But when we woke up the bay was frozen over. We knew that we could push the ice out of the way to make it into open water, but had no idea open water would be so far away. Typically it takes us about 25 minutes to get to the marina from our location, but today, it took more like 45 to an hour. Since we were unsure what the ice was doing to the boat we took it as slow as possible. Every once in awhile even in open water we had to slow down to break up ice.
