The reason why I became an Ateneo fan was because of JC. 2006 loss against UST was my first basketball heartbreak. First time kong umiyak nang dahil sa basketball kasi birthday ko yung Game 3! Hahahahaha! At dahil don, mas minahal ko ang basketball. I am a huge JC Intal fan. I followed him after UAAP to PBL hanggang PBA. I was young when I fell in love with the game and I thank JC Intal kasi dahil sa kanya natuto akong mangarap at wasakin yung improvised basketball court ko sa bahay namin kaka dakdak! Thank you JC! You were my inspiration. Thank you kasi dahil sayo, na appreciate ko lalo ang local basketball. I am proud to say that I was first a Philippine Basketball fan bago overseas (like NBA, Euro League, etc.)

Probably, the most inspiring story. Wala sa plano tapos he was playing in a small league tapos NCAA and UAAP. The best story of a former walk-in or walk-on making it in the PBA tapos playing for Ginebra and Gilas. GG.

Yung 2015 Gilas lineup natin sobrang underrated natin nun, tbh kahit ako I didn't expect na gilas would come that far specially natalo sila first game palang against syria ata yun if im not mistaken. We had a lot of gilas main stays na wala noon kasi injured. Dun ko na realize na ibang klase din talagang coach si Coach Tab grabe ang galing, dun din lumabas yung laro ni calvin eh 1 2 punch sila ni terrence sa 2nd unit parehas energy guy on offense and defense. We could've won the gold 100% for sure if It wasn't because of the dirty tactics of china, specially FIBA Asia Championships was held in a different country for sure. Even nba stars back then reacted on FIBA asia gold medal match.
I'm a fan of PH basketball, and JC is very much appreciated and respected...even from a Maroon!

People forget that had that 2015 Gilas won the Gold? We could have been in the 2016 Rio Olympics. What if nga naman talaga kung full force yun, wala na sanang Qualifer needed. After the 2013 Gilas Manila version, next fave ko tong 2015.

Naging fan ako lalo ng Ginebra dahil kay JC. Syempre bukod kay Jayjay, Mark, at Ronald. Hindi ko maalala kung new year or christmas game yun basta somewhere 2010. Naalala ko yung laro nila sa Cuneta Astrodome nun. Sobrang ganda ng laro niya tapos may dakdak pa siya sobrang wild ng crowd at ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Hindi ko alam kung mula nung game na yun yung nagkaroon siya ng kumpyansa at nagtuloy tuloy magandang laro niya. Lungkot lang nalipat siya nun. Enjoy retirement siiiir!!!!!!

I remember that ust player na namatay 2006 b4 d start of uaap. John lee apil he was trying to save a kid at sya ang na koryente ata. Then that JC intal last shot sabi nila it was apil who helped the ust win the title kaya daw lumabas ang bola. But ofcrz we know deserve ng ust yon. Just sharing mikee. Di masyado known basketball school si Claret e kahit kataas ng tuition, so he needed to go by Letran..Yung dayo nya yung medyo sosyal with car sa mga executive villages hehehe! I watched the bonfire game live Mikee. You said this in one of your vlogs, in the dark ages of the UP, some of the people cheering for UP were actually from the schools that would play in the second game. The second game of the UP - Adamson game was NU - FEU game, preview of the finals that year although no one thought at that time it would be NU - FEU in the finals. Inigo and Cruz had about 5 three point shots made each. Anyway, Happy retirement JC.
2006 UST championship and 2014 NU championship though. I hope Mikee can guest someone from that 2014 cinderella NU team... Being from FEU, I didn't feel bad about losing to the Bulldogs, they deserved it. Our championship was when Belo hit the game winner against La Salle in the final four.
