After unlocking them, you need to purchase the single metal parts in the shop, within the colors with gold medals.

I seen so many people make this mistake and it annoys me a lot. I actually made my metal amy torso pink at first but when playing cyber station I was like: OH S*#$, METAL AMYS TORSO IS GREEN LIKE HER NORMAL COUNTERPART. And fixed it after beating the boss
We really need a new NiGHTS game. That franchise still has so many interesting aspects. Music, graphics, story, characters, etc.
Absolutely yes! There are still so many things left untapped too, and the lore is incomplete. The last non-cameo appearance we've seen of NiGHTS aside from this was a racing game. Sega, we're begging you!

This is the most significant NiGHTS thing we've had in years, im going rabid for it.
I like that its based on classic NiGHTS design because this is a retro game and in this faux back to the past timeline - the NiGHTS sequel wouldnt exist yet.
I read an interview on the development of the first game, was supposed to be a platformer before the one that got released. I wonder how it would look... I like to think they could make Nights come back with a game like Superstars.

@@Sebo994 Indeed, hence why other than that one appearance in the Archie series, Tails Doll was never seen in a video game after Sonic R (only reappearing as a cameo in Lego Dimensions' Sonic level).
Would be nice if these were actually playable, like constructing the full robot unlocks it as a skin for the story

@@jts.1535 Hot take, but lacked a lot of potential. Perhaps a remaster could fix it? Because it WAS the same guys who created NiGHTS that also created Balan after all, perhaps we could even get a crossover DLC, should they remaster it?

Maybe that will be released as either DLC or as part of a title update.
It'd be a cool way for a playable Fang campaign too if they made Metal Fang part of the story.
The idea in my mind is Eggman creating Metal Fang so he doesn't have to bother with Fang, and then Metal Fang steals the Marvellous Queen. That gives Fang a reason to fight his Metal counterpart (who can serve as like Eggrobo in Trip's Story) without giving him a redemption arc.

I think that there should have been a special Easter Egg for the Cyber Station Zone boss battle: if the Metal Fighter were Metal Sonic, then the Stardust Speedway Bad Future (JP/EU) track should’ve started playing when he appeared.
It would be great to see other characters, both classic and modern, in their metal versions, and the V2 of mecha sonic.

I've never played a NiGHTS game but i did play a sega tennis game and i used Tails and NiGHTS mostly. I love her design, giving jester vibes (pretty sure that's the point)

Yeah, when I hear "Mecha Sonic" I immediately think of the S&K version. I'm surprised they never brought him back since lore-wise he's supposedly the most powerful of the Sonic robots. I know he was "destroyed" and all, but, I mean, can't Eggman build another one?

The amount of times NiGHTS references show up in Sonic games means they clearly haven’t forgotten about him/her. I really hope SEGA brings NiGHTS back with a darker tone game like frontiers. That would be awesome. Maybe you play as past NiGHTS who took ideya from humans at one point.

How do you obtain the NiGHTs robot parts and the black colour? I just beat the game and still don’t know what you’re supposed to do to get them.
You unlock Metal NiGHTS by finishing a bonus stage from a checkpoint with all rings collected. For the black color, you need to purchase all 4 prototypes from the shop.
What about the other parts? I mean yeah, they aren't metals, but do you plan to make a video on them?
I still don't know if I already unlocked every item in the shop. But once I bought everything, the video is coming 😎

Isn't Mecha Sonic a different robot? The one from Sonic &, Knuckles? The one from Sonic 2 was called Silver Sonic

The one in Sonic & Knuckles is Mecha Sonic Mk II.
Silver Sonic is the one in the Master System game, that Metal Sonic summons in his boss fight in Mania (the little ones you have to bounce back to hit Metal Sonic).
Archie comic got all the names wrong, so the western fanbase just used those names, but now SEGA want every country to have the same names as the Japanese version, just like they did with Robotnik/Eggman and now Nack/Fang.
Since NIGHTS was referenced, Why not reference Sonic RPG too? It would be cool.

Ok this what you need to do:
*1.* Go to Bridge Island Act 1. Collect 50 rings and touch a checkpoint. A warp portal will appear on the top of the checkpoint. Jump into it.
*2.* Now you need to collect every single ring in the 3 maze stages before collecting the last gold medal.
*3.* You're done! You can buy all Metal NiGHTS parts in the shop.
