I'm a big fan of Asahi Super Dry. It's my favorite beer here, and it's the most popular in Japan. I'm not sure if it's available in the States, or if it's the real stuff brewed by the Japanese company.
If you ever come here, I hope you get a chance to try all the different stuff.
Also, you'll love the 9% chu-hais. Lotta Marines and Sailors get in trouble because they underestimate that 9% lmao
Was Army at Zama, can confirm I was not warned my first weekend there that chu-hais will fuck your world up.
It is available here. I order it every time I go out for Ramen here in Houston.
@@Ducati121 I was stationed in Iwakuni for my first duty station and can confirm, Chu-hai will fuck you up. Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I was about a half dozen in because you can't really taste the alcohol... would not recommend hitting them that hard, because they hit back.

Orion was started after WWII with all of the American military stationed on the island. It is my favorite Japanese beer.
I second the idea of a beer review with the highest ABV beers you can find!
gotta get him a bottle of Brewdog's Sink the Bismark. Last I checked it was still the strongest beer in the world

I don't drink too many light beers anymore, but back in the day, I used to drink kirin ichiban and tsingtao whenever we went out to an Asian restaurant. Both were good.

Its so hard to find orion outside of california, I miss it from my time stationed at Camp Hansen in Okinawa,
I spent 2 1/2 years in Okinawa Japan, and I drank a lot of Japanese beer. Drank a bunch of Orion. Developed my taste for Scotch whiskey 8:03 there also, as Japanese whiskey has a Scotch whisky taste.
Sapporo is the only beer I’ve had that you tried today, but it’s always an easy go-to beer

Looks like sashimi get some spider roll or the shrimp tempura. I will eat raw fish but only sockeye. Cali rolls are good as well. Just gotta find what you like. That sushi looked gross though.

Alabama boss I highly suggest you do Korean beer next they should be right up your alley. I really enjoy these beer review series. Definitely looking forward to a part 3 of the Mexican beers. There are so many more Mexican beers you haven't tried that your going to love. Do some blind test of them too so you choose your favorite blind!
