It seems to be everything Disney used to be ( as of late the magic is gone)and then some. You have the most informative videos I’ve been able to find. I was looking at the airports and stuff as I always put Europa Park as a terminus of my spring break plans for when I plan to study abroad in Madrid next year. I found Stausburg in France to be the closest airport at 40mins. In this case, I have decided to end a trip starting at Movie Park Germany, 2 days at Phantasialand, Heidelberg Castle/Holiday Park, Tripsdril, Schwaben Park, an evening in Rulantica, 2 days at Europa and this would be meeting up with Marina of Thrills United

Man, that park looks beautiful!!! I also have heard the Black Forest is a gorgeous area. I read about it after being at Busch Gardens last year. The story line for Verbolten is so good that it seems real that there's an evil spirit in the forest...idk if there really is a legend about the Black Forest or not, but seeing pictures on the sight I was reading about it, looks so beautiful.

Loads of fantastic shows. Best theme park food in the world. Best resort in Europe - every hotel is top tier and their restaurants and buffets beat Disney’s best restaurants. We'll be getting the local bus from the railway station to our accommodation across from the park and I am wondering how one pays for a bus journey in Germany. And I'ts always such a fantastic feeling, when you see the lifthill of Silver Star or the lighthouse tower from Bell Rock after a six hours car ride, or when you see (and hear) the E.P. Express driving around the hotels - love it!

Probably as an update to the Transporation segment: DB now also offers direct EuroCityExpress (ECE) train connections from Frankfurt, Basel and Karlsruhe. From Basel it's about 1 hour, from Frankfurt about 2 hours. These fast trains now stop at Ringsheim station with no need to change.
However, reaching the Frankfurt connection will be too early for most people arriving with the airplane. You would need to catch a train 8am at the airport's train station and switch at Mannheim (not Frankfurt) into the ECE. You would be there close to park opening, though and could enjoy a full day.
Basel actually is a good option: The train leaves Basel SBB at 15:38, which should be good for most arrivals. You would still need to take the bus to Basel SBB, but from there on, it's just a relaxed trip directly to Ringsheim and you would be there for the free "last resort hour" ticket.
    Here is the timetable: www.freizeitparkinfos.de/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Bahnhalt.jpg

    Hello Shawn,
It was very interesting and useful watching this video, great information.
I am thinking of going to Europa Park sometime in the future. I have been told that it’s a very good theme park and I have heard a lot of positive things about it.
I am hoping to get round to going there.
I do have a number of questions I would like to ask as you have been many times:
    1. Due to the coronavirus pandemic at The airports like Basel airport, do they ask for proof of vaccination or Covid passport at airports through passport control when you have gone?
    2. I did see the travel blog when you went through Basel airport, and then went to Switzerland and got the train to Ringshiem to get to Europa Park and that sounds like the best travel option. Are there any other airports closer than Basel Airport to go to Europa park which are close by?
    3. When visiting Europa Park and the water park Rulantica do they ask for proof of vaccination? Or proof of a lateral flow test before visiting?
    4. When you go into Germany do they ask you to self isolate? I know that countries have different rules regarding Covid 19.
    5. When is the cheapest time to go to Europa Park? i.e summer time or winter time? Is it more busier in summer time than the winter time?
    6. What would be the minimum days to spend at Europa Park to get the full experience? I know it varies from person to person but what would you recommend number of days at a minimum?
    7. How expensive is the restaurants and other outlets out there in Europa Park?
    8. How much money would you recommended to take out to spend in Europa Park for a whole day?
    Thank you very much.

I LOVE EUROPA PARK! Normally I would go every 2 years because of school summer holidays, but we would get on a Ferry from Dover to Dunkirk in France. Then we would drive to Duinrell and sometimes go to the beach, then drive all the way to Efteling stay there for a few days and then drive to Europa Park and stay there for a few days. Sadly The last time I went was when Rulantica was being built and we didn't get to see the finished product but I still loved being there in the park, I find the experience magical.. Just a question, are you going to do a Predictions and wish list for Europa Park? Personally I would love to see that as I am enjoying the series very much! Hey Sean, may I know what time you arrived at Europa Park on the first day and the sequence of hotel check-in and entering the park? I'm planning on getting to Europa Park from Utrecht, Netherlands in August. Probably will stopby Frankfurt a day before arriving. Love your video! Cheers!

@@ThemeParkWorldwide I can’t wait to watch. Once again thank you so much for this series. I just hope that one day soon both Europa Park and Fantasialand permit blind riders with a sighted carer or friend on to their rides like UK theme parks do.

I'm planning a trip to Europa Park for my sisters 30th bday. What are your other Themepark recommendations for Germany? She wants to do Movie Park as they have a ride there called Area 51 that used to be the Bermuda Triangle at SeaWorld on the Goldcoast in Australia. But what other themeparks or thrill rides would you suggest? Thank you!

Shawn thank you so much for this video it’s been great help.
I managed to book my train tickets using your help. I am flying into Baden Airpark and have my train tickets booked.
I was just wondering do you book the bus in advance from Baden airpark to the train station?

The London Resort, which would be built on the Swanscombe Peninsula between Dartford and Gravesend, has already been accepted as being a "Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project", meaning a Development Consent Order is needed to progress to the next stage.

i’ve recently seen an advert for the company Coaster Breaks, curious to hear your thoughts and to see if this is something to consider in the future. This company organises trips across europe for you and a group of people to go to theme parks as a collective. There is a set price which covers travel and accommodation, the tickets to the parks, and a 24/7 travel guide.

When driving from basal do you cross a boarder? Are the hire company cool with picking the car up from Switzerland and trotting off to Germany?
