When my dad passed away, I got through it by binge-watching complete seasons of Seinfeld. It was the only comfort I could find during the most horrible time of my life.
Thank you Julia and Jason. You gave me great comfort in my weakest moment in life.
Her dad passed and left her 1 Billion Dollars 💵’
You know she’s Filthy Rich 🤑 ‘
Julia and Jason, they're REAL and they're SPECTACULAR.
Well done. Peace.
This might be - and i'm saying this with an unblemished record of staunch heterosexuality - the best comment i ever read on youtube.
So nice to see these two together again, even if it’s only online. Two fantastic people and brilliant actors. I really enjoyed this.
@iconoclast No, not at all! Sorry, couldn't resist!
@iconoclast I still can't figure why Jason Alexander never won an Emmy. Very unfair.
I’m unemployed and I live with my parents.
I'm Victoria.. Hi !
@@tonymontana897 I actually imagined Al Pacino saying that... creepy!
Hilarious episode 😂
“I'm disturbed, I'm depressed, I'm inadequate - I've got it all!”
"I'm a great quitter. It's one of the few things I'm do well. I come from a long line of quitters - my father was a quitter, my grandfather was a quitter... I was raised to give up!"
@@inesgoncalves232 Im speechless. I have NO speech.
The Seinfeld cast has aged way better than the friends cast
Because they chose somewhat realistic looking dudes. George was bald and small looking so early that he ages well better.
Ohh yeahhh, that's true.
It’s so funny how people always find a way to compare friends with literally any sitcom ever, I mean, just don’t watch it
Matthew Tolea It’s because they didn’t get plastic surgery so they aged gracefully. Matt Leblanc and Lisa Kudrow still look great though.
Accurate
I love how she calls him "Jas" with such affection.
@Digby Dooright I would agree
Imagine Seinfeld without George.....not possible.
it is like imagining basketball without a ball
Yet he’s the only one who didn’t win an Emmy I believe. Crazy.
@@catmip He did from me ! 🤩
IKR. I had a girlfriend who hated the character of George and wished they'd get rid of him. I'd argue that George was really the soul of the show moreso than Jerry, and that aside from some selfishness, the character was a good guy. She'd just go on about how he was such a horrible schmuck. I felt so vindicated in the episode of _Curb Your Enthusiasm_ where Larry re-enacts his real-life argument with Jason: "What are you talking about, no one would react like this!? This is exactly what happened to me and this is exactly what I did!!"
DanHarkless ﴾Halloween videos, YTPs, & more﴿ Exactly! The Jerry character needs George just like the real Jerry needed Larry to put the show together and to run it. It really seemed like Larry was the real quarterback of the show.
At least Jerry’s little apartment was believable. People in sitcoms often have absurdly big houses.
Right, the main apartment on "Friends" was huge for a Manhattan apartment.
@@ThunderPants13 It was a converted loft.
@@ThunderPants13 Also, there are a lot of big apartments all over NYC. Most of them are rent controlled and are yet to be cut down to at least half by greedy landlords.
I know she is just a character but I am still in love with Elaine.
Seriously. I loved Seinfeld, but didn't develop a 'crush' on Julia until Old Christine. Now, as i constantly re-watch Seinfeld, the crush deepens and i literally said to myself yesterday, "I need an Elaine"-just as a 'half crush, half platonic' relationship. Julia rules. Our era's Mary Tyler Moore. I just want to know if "lookit" was actually written into the scripts, or if that's her own Maryland/regional thing.
same here
@@CentaurusRelax314 what do you mean by lookit? From MD/close to Baltimore and haven't seen an Elaine near here haha...still looking just like you
the real Julia is so awesome
I prefer Julia...
You guys are hella humble, but please DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE your contributions. My wife and I have Seinfeld running 24/7 in our home and it is the difference between functioning and crippling anxiety. Thank you. We would not have a life without Seinfeld. Thank you.
haha same here !!! I can never get bored ! there's always something new to laugh at at each stage of life !
us too. It brings normality to our lives. Its classic and makes me feel safe.
it is so weirdly comforting isn't it? even though they are terrible people lol.
I refused to watch Seinfeld for several years, because it was such a popular show. Most things that are usually that popular with "middle America" really sucked at that time. I mean Alf was the #1 comedy when Seinfeld started. But still to this day, I watch many episodes a week, and soak up everything that's Seinfeld.
Same here. Sanity saving. Greetings from Oz
i've been binge watching Seinfeld episodes throughout this pandemic. it has been the only thing keeping me sane. SERENITY NOW!!!!!
scott peitavino Serenity now...insanity later.
If you've got time to sit around and binge you have little to nothing to stress about.
snavis tell us all how difficult your life is
@@bsdpowa I've been married almost a decade, I have three young children and the majority of my free time is spent working.
I'm an adult so yep life is tough, go back to watching your CZcams videos kid.
So have I, I’ve also watched A LOT of behind the scenes stuff about the show, and seeing George and Elaine together like this is very refreshing
You can tell how bonded these two are. They were clearly a bonded pair on set, Jerry and Larry were the bosses and were always off in the writing room, Michael is from another planet - while these two were from the theatre and had similar sensibilities. A special friendship that was born from the greatest sitcom of all time.
Perhaps you should see/read the article where Jason is speaking about the fact that NONE OF THEM ever became friends, etc. It was always just a business environment.....
Nicely observed
@@mddell58 I'm sure they were probably to busy to be freinds off set

Yay! My husband and I have watched Seinfeld every night before bed for the past 14 years. A nice laugh to end the day!
You're not alone. My wife and I have been doing the same thing. I'm not sure if it's a good thing to do to relax, but well....who cares? We've learned to intersperse Seinfeld with Frasier, so we have a good mix of hilarity.
Seinfeld and curb are the funniest shows ever
i love this
I must say, Jason is so damn interesting, all of his stories are so good.
Oh without question. He's a brilliant person too. His memory is phenomenal.
A BIG BIG thank you Julia and Jason for doing this. It's an enormous joy to hear you guys discuss all that went behind the scenes bringing the material to life. Being a HUGE Seinfeld fan, this is GOLD! Lots of love to both of you. Thank you for bringing Seinfeld to our lives for eternity!

Jason Alexander is such an amazing actor. He is so talented. And Seinfeld is a really funny, really smart, timeless show.
I always thought that the character of George required the most skill to portray! Jason did most of the heavy lifting!
I have spent thousands of hours watching Seinfeld. I loved every minute

same, its better than any show on tv today
Seriously....best sitcom EVER!!! It BEATS ALL SITCOMS HANDS DOWN!
@@thegr8rambino Hell yeah its better.
The Seinfeld Show was the greatest because of the chemistry of the 4 main characters, all 4 were necessary and great comedians in their own right, and the extra characters and the guest characters fit as well.
The writing helped.
And it was funny..
Writing and directing makes the show. But of course they were all pretty funny and that helped
Steve- what iota of proof do you have showing that jason alexander is a great comedian in his own right??? he was absolutely nothing before seinfeld, and has been a nothing since the show ended. Same with "Kramer."
I stole George's idea 4 years ago, and I started insisting I'm going to have a, "Summer of Paul." lol. ....and I DID. I quit my banking job, never looked back, and I took a 3 month trip to Europe...after cashing in my 401k. lol. Don't regret a second. LOVED it. Thanks George! hahaha

Julia Louis-Dreyfus the greatest comic actress of all time hands down and Jason Alexander played one of the most iconic character ever on TV. And they are just as funny out of character. Seinfeld is as funny today as it was when it first aired and I have seen every episode several times, kinda just like everyone else who enjoys the funniest sitcom of all time! Glad Julia Louis-Dreyfus is healthy and she beat her disease
Julia is a great actress period, but I don't think you could put her up with someone like a Lucille Ball as the greatest comic actress ever.
@@gst013 I don't think you could put up either one of them as the greatest comic actress ever, in fact there never was such a thing as the greatest comic actress ever.
gst013 Right! And don’t forget, Carol Burnett! And that’s just off the top of my head. It’s not an easy question, but all 3 would be on my list.
Love Julia and Carol Burnett, but Lucille Ball is the queen of Comedy.
All this talk about who's the 'greatest' or 'the queen' is a lot of hot air. There are no objective standards for comedy, and besides, it's not a competition. i don't see anyone offering any cred as to why they should be arbiter of what's great. If you tell me 'so and so makes me laugh more than anyone on the planet', that I can understand.
Who wouldn't absolutely LOVE to see these four together once more while they're still with us.
Julia: you DO have grace!
It’s 2020 and I still watch 1 Seinfeld episode every night before going to bed - this show about nothing is everything !!! 🤣🤣 - thank you to this amazingly funny cast for giving us the best show
Same here, it's a form of therapy for us
Omg my wife and i do the same thing! Every single night we watch a seinfeld episode!

OMG! I do the same thing! Every night! The whole series is on my ROKU so I just start from S1 E1 and let it play. One after the other.
I love this!
This is gold, Jerry. GOLD!
The worse part of this discussion? It wasn’t 8 hours! Love these people!!!
When I went through my major 2 week anxiety breakdown back in 2007, ALL I watched was Seinfeld. It calmed me down and made (still makes) me happy. ❤️ Thank you
Serenity Now!?
Seinfeld is still my favorite comedy sitcom ever..
As a TV sitcom junkie all through the 1970s, I agree. The best. Who comes close? The Honeymooners and All in the Family. Curb Your Enthusiasm is also brilliant, but the playing field was different.
@@paullawrence9056 al bundy came closest in the 90s.

Seinfeld 4?
I met him in real life about 10years ago. He is a great guy.
How, where?
George Costanza said “WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY” before the Joker memes did
George Costanza could have been a super villain if he was motivated enough but alas he saw himself as a short stocky bald man who doesn't seem so funny.
my absolute favorite scene was George visiting his mom at the hospital with the bed bath shadow play.
Hold on mom...hold on.....here have some tic-tacs. Remember his mom was really hungry? Lol lol
I watch Seinfeld every time I’m feeling a little down and it never fails to cheer me up. It’s a classic that will never get old. It’s at the same level as I Love Lucy.
Stella!!! One of Elaine's best lines from the entire tenure of the show!
Elaine and George. I must be dreaming. Thank you.
But you had to have the BIGGGGGGGGGG SALAD!!! Julia and Jason rock!

MICHAEL ON COMEDIANS IN CARS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IVE SEEN
Jesus Christ their friendship is so sweet and endearing. Watching this gives me such a deeper appreciation for Seinfeld and the bond they shared. I could watch this all day.
their friendship is based on gossip about Jerry. dont you remember that episode where george and elaine was going out without jerry, just to make fun of jerry?
I would have watched all the shows of a spinoff with George's parents.

I loved hearing about Seinfeld behind the scenes and Julia and Jason both look really good after all of these years
I just started a full rewatch from season 1 with our 14 year old. Thank you Julia and Jason for the great memories.
I can see Julia gigling on the show all the time.
Sometimes there's a quick cut, sometimes they are just zooming someone else.

Those are actually so fun to watch.
It's fun when you try to notice when they're about to break, Jerry and Julia are the worst ones lol

wow, so funny, brings back so many memories.
Seinfeld had so many fantastic side characters which made the show even more memorable. Puddy is probably my favorite. High five !
Indeed...so many of them! Elaines' bosses J. Peterman, and Mr. Lippman ("Top of the muffin to you!!") , the geriatric workout fanatic and owner of Magic Pan crepes, Mr. Izzy Mandelbaum (and sons), Seinfeld's arch nemesis in Del Boca Vista, Jack Klompus, David Puddy and his empty stares, and of course, Kramers' frenemy, Mickey Abbott ... oh what a show.
Hello Newman!
Lol lol Remember The face painting episode. The devil....lol putty.
On the flipside!
my favourite signature gag lines from the 4 main characters:
Jerry - "Who is this?" (on phone)
George - "George is getting upset"
Elaine - "Get Out" & Signature dance
Kramer - Giddy up!
Show never gets old. All time best sitcom I don't care. ❤️
Not kramer sliding through the door?
Ishan Ghimire thats not a line he says but I do love it when he does it haha
Easily best all time sitcom. Sadly! I recall when it ended assuming there would be more like it. Wasn't to be. (I count Curb as a sequel to Seinfeld)
The dialogue between Numan and Kramer in court fighting a ticket is what I always go back to.
@@scrappyny7432 Oh yeah. And in Seinfeld history interviews with cast and writers it has always seemed to me that the Newman/Kramer pairing doesn't receive its due. Even the smallest scene between those two often packed more laughs than the rest of an episode.
Seinfeld is a piece of art. Something i saw when i was young, and every year for the last 20 years, and now i´m currently counting the time to share it with my son.
Seinfeld is one of those shows that defines a certain time of my life and still resonates with me to this day. Thank you for doing this!
Seinfeld WAS my 20s.
Julia is beautiful
This was fun. This last hour felt like I was living an episode from Seinfeld. So cool! Thanks...
The only bad thing about Seinfeld is that they didn't make more.
The beginning of this starts off like it could be a typical Seinfeld episode.
"Seinfeld - The Golden Years" 😆
George: “If something happens here can I count on you”?
Jerry: “Yeah I really want to get into a rumble”!
"I hate his little outfit....his shirt matches his little socks...I really hate this guy."
Omg. Such funny stories. I was in university at the time. It connected everyone on campus. Every Friday we’d all be laughing and recounting the previous night’s episode.
When the show was in its prime, I've never seen anything on TV in all my 53 years that had that kind of devotion.
h d Agreed. 100%. I also haven’t seen that kind of clever writing since either.
So great to see Susie and Art Vandelay again. Much love !
Julia, among my favorite Elaine stories was when she was frantically trying to get her now ex-boyfriend packed and to the airport on time. And the scene afterward as she recounted the story to the guys. The frazzled hair, overcoat over her night gown, just defeated look after they had almost made it in time. Just wonderfully done!
Thanks for all the laughs
Genius show, writers and cast 💖💖
I binge Seinfeld in quarantine😂
I have been binge watching Seinfeld in my camper in the back yard, love you guys
Wish they'd do another one of these, and tell stories about Jerry Stiller. He was such a legend. He cracked me up in ANYTHING I saw him in. Rest in peace Mr. Stiller. Thank you for all the laughs.
Hello, and thank you calling Movie-Phone!
*George & Elaine are my two favorite characters in the history of television. Thank you guys for making life growing up in the 90’s so freaking fun!*

@fane babanu jerry would have won anyway, even if george was disqualified
He still snorts when he laughs🤣

Should I not have done that.
I thought it was just his character, but I guess in real life. Jason is so great, he did so well that it was difficult for him to land a role afterwards. Happens a lot, so they just go to writing and directing. The show could have been called "Costanza"
Cana Dude exactly. After all the whole George costanza character was loosely based on Larry David’s person so he could have just had his own show
Gracias por esos programas maravillosos, son parte de mi vida,
Julia and Jason's interactions with Frank Costanza (Jerry Stiller) were gold
Favorite scene with Elaine: When the chef remarked about Elaines Botachelli shoes and she didn’t like it. My wife had the same reaction when someone did that to her. Hilarious!

Oh! Glad to find this channel! This was awesome!
I love watching those bloopers on youtube, how Michael never breaks and him getting frustrated with Julia. It's understandable though, the amount of craftmanship and care he puts into those performances and the physical effort of doing them. Working on something that funny must be like nuclear scientists in a power plant trying to very carefully handle the uranium, through those rubber gloves behind the thick glass, so they don't spill a drop.
I love that Julia used the word "breathtaking" in this (like in The Hamptons episode).
This conversation is a treasure!
