Sadly, Statler the bat passed away in 2021. But he lived a lot longer and much more comfortably than he would have in the wild.

Fruit bats look like chihuahuas with wings. That moth story is like Snow White in action. That was so cool and that owl is gorgeous. And so are all the people who rescue animals!
Moths- love them and glad they exist
The owl rescuer and his family lifted my heart, tipped the scales towards the good, and I send my heartfelt respect and appreciation to him and his family.
Not me bawling my eyes out at this beautiful moment of life and love and the true nature of nurturing good will in the world. (The moth story got me good)
Some Moths are even prettier than Butterflies! I can't believe someone had the kindness to do this. Or "fly" a bat around...but l am SO GRATEFUL these people exist.
I live in the desert, and rescued lizards, birds, quail, and even a great horned owl. I love animals.
