Thanks!! Just standard shure 57s and a beta52 in the kick. I use 2 mxl condensers for over heads. A lot of it is in the process of mixing though!

Is of your cymbals you use a AAX Sabian Ploison 16' and if so do u like it?

practice my friend!!! Practice some pedal techniques mixed with sticking techniques to improve your coordination
Carbonstyle72 if you take just pedal pattern for moment, and ignore hh and snare you'll find the way

Michael Scott once you have the coordination down to use that sticking (footing), its actually probably a better way to maintain even strength between your feet wouldn't it?

Cameron Jones Drums I'm only starting out on drums, have just a basic cheap kit. What kinda brands of cymbals do you recommend that aren't so costly like these Sabian ones. Can't see myself spending 3 or 400 bucks on a few at this stage.
hey buddy, with cymbals, you get what you pay for. But the best bang for your buck definitely goes to Wuhan Cymbals which you can get off ebay cheap. Or if you can find some, get some Kahzan cymbals. Or look into the Sabian B8 series. They are all decent cheap cymbals :)
