I like how Joel let that crowd surfer finish the lyrics. It's about having fun, even Amity themselves have said its all about the high energy and fans giving it their all. Security was a douche. Even Ryan looked at the security and was like "Wtf dude, their having fun." Love Amity!

Very well may be the best live growl I’ve heard. So amazing. They took a different route in this new album I can only pray to god they continue that trend next album and let Ahren scream more.. it would so so incredible in the studio

Joel ruined his voice before this tour and Joel wentnto the hospital ahren sang 2 songs of there and ruined his voice as well was a sad day but they seem to have recovered well

i mean, anytime a band has an intro track, they usually are playing to a striped down version so that those parts play with the song live. A lot of bands do this. You're still hearing their screams/instruments/vocals, just sometimes you hear a studio harmony track too
Even the bass part is backtracked now (I saw them last week. That was awful)
I kind of understand their perspective. I guess having the lead backtracked means 2 guitars can focus on rhythm parts aka chugs (which is their thing)

I just saw them a few weeks ago, and he was even calmer and more still than in this show. They sounded amazing and the pit was intense but stage presence was shite.
He needs to stop cupping the mic I can hardly hear him.

Love the band's originality but I'm not real impressed that they have two guitars but no one playin the crazy riff/trill during the breakdown, it's just a backtrack. And the scream seems to only do mid, not impressive.
I love TAA, but I was disappointed with them when I noticed that for the most part, they both seem to be playing the same rhythm part.
+Josh Hayes their lead guitarist quit just before this, he was a crazy bastard so it'll take a while before they can have anyone play lead...
Maybe they should have three guitarists. Because while it was disappointing that they didn't have anyone playing the lead parts, it also sounded crushingly heavy as shit with dual rhythm.

bands do that all the time on simple shit, backtracking rythm will sound worse than backtracking a simple lead in the mix
well they do it to keep the heavy parts sounding heavy. so if one used lead and one rhythm It wouldn't sound as heavy
