    Hi Lee - I read through you letter - I started taking care of myself 3 years ago at 62 years. I started with cycling. Now Ive added yoga, food, the gym - all new things for me. YES you can do this. Start with Restorative Yoga - find the easiest class you can with a patient teacher. This journey you are embarking on will lead you to new knowledge, friends and energy.     Why not just have a nap? Sleep is the most restorative state of human body.

      I often describe restorative yoga as the best, most relaxing nap I've ever had. Often, I am not aware of how much time is passing and an hour and a half class passes like 15 minutes. I also get up from restorative yoga feeling refreshed, while I often feel groggy after a nap.

      @@daniellereid8880 Maybe your naps are too short. Have you tried sleeping 2 or 3 days?

      ,@@daniellereid8880 I agree, I dislike naps because I feel gross afterward. I need to get back into Restorative yoga.

      This is not about quantity of sleep but quality of sleep. It has been scientifically proofed that sleeping beyong 9h for an adult is not good for health. Also restaurative yoga is not about staying still, you move but stay long in the position that are done to relax the body by realising tension. That is not the same as having a nap, laying on your bed unconsciously......
