It is encouraging in a different way to see those things be spoken about, but it can feel overwhelming at times. So it’s helpful and encouraging to think about the good and exciting things too. And also to hear the different ways in which women are involved in creating.
Yes indeed. Lost In Austen is a really good part modern/part authentic P&P. And I really like the way the actor did Darcy, he really got that sense of aristocracy and that Darcy is like a third rate Prince William.
I am one of those people who just recently found (& loved) LBD. It's interesting though bc I've /known/ about it for years, since when it was still ongoing, and only just got around to actually /watching/ it.
Lost in Austen is awesome, but they twist the story around quite a bit. Gotta be ok with creative freedom... but now that I think about it, LBD had a bit of creative freedom too!
