Brian is honestly the best I have been waiting for this episode
This was such an interesting conversation and I absolutely love Mary Kate as a host- this was so soothing but engaging at the same time
firenze our centaur friend
Brian, Bill is the curse breaker for the bank, Charlie is the dragon tamer!

I did not want this Epp to end it was over far to quickly
Just gonna throw this out there Spies are Forever the Movie Musical

This is all your fault jafar
Dang it, you beat me.

omg, Brian is so perfect. My favorite one!!
This takes all the stress away from waiting till the new part of spies comes out!!!
I totally agree about book Ginny being better then movie Ginny. Also, can you do craftversations with Joe Walker?
Yes to having Joe Walker on the show!
OMG YAS JOE WALKER IN CRAFTVERSATIONS!
YES TO BOTH THESE THINGS!!!
+Zoe Man ZOE
Yay! I have been wanting to see Brian Rosenthal on Craftversations! My wish came true! Hazzah!
I know I keep saying "ooh! This one is my favorite!" But this one is my favorite. I love Craftversations! Yay! Harry Potter wands! 💙
0:16 i agree!
I remember, when I first watched AVPM I got a large crush on Brian and was shipping Quirrell and Voldemort, hard. This in turn creeped me out. I did not expect this.
wait uh.. you found Brian creepy? why though?
@@laura.r365 No, I found it creepy of me that (thanks to AVPM and my crush on Brian) my OTP contained Voldemort of all things--not just a villain but like, really evil, Hitler stand in level. But in AVPM they were just so cuuuuute.
@@ostrichlives9363 ohh alright! that makes so much more sense haha. I didn’t think it possible for anyone to be creeped out by Brian, thanks for reassuring my worldview there. but yeah, that’s just Starkid for you. they do have a thing for making you feel for well known villains/disliked characters.. which I absolutely love about them, it makes their plays so much more interesting! also with Voldemort it obviously helps that Brian is just an absolute delight in every role he plays, I mean who could not fall for him?
Definitely agree with movie Ginny, like I love Bonnie Wright, but the way she was written in the movies was so weird and wasn't given enough time to shine by herself. The first times you see her kind of talking and interacting with Harry is just like weirdly sexual but like forced in the Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows and you don't see her interacting with him at the Burrow or playing Quidditch or joking with Fred and George or being friends with Luna or like yelling at Harry to stop being a prat and he's not being possessed because I know what that's like so chill out dude. All the interesting parts of her story are cut out.
Also I went to a Harry Potter quiz night my local HPA put on and my team came first (one of the few accomplishments I am actually proud of) and they had wands like this in the prizes and since then I have been itching to make my own wands!
Bill Weasley is the oldest and he's a curse breaker for Gringotts.
Charlie Weasley is a dragon tamer in Romania.
omg i got so excited when i read the name of the guest! what a lovely video, as always!
Charlie's the dragon one! And yes to marrying Lupin.
Spies coming to New York would be so great!!
I did this craft at my university's Harry Potter night, but we did it with chopsticks (I don't know where they got like three-hundred chopsticks but they had them). It was an awesome craft and I totally recommend it to people.
Yay! I'm so excited for this episode!
I got very distracted by your LOTR extended edition DVDs in the background for a minute there 😍
I'm so excited about this craft because I will be having a Harry Potter Halloween party! I was already planning on making those dragon eggs, and now we can have wands, too. I'm not overly excited to read The Cursed Child, but I *am* excited about Fantastic Beasts.
OH ya there are definitely some lesbian quittidch (idk how to spell it) players I mean it's like the softball thing irl how it's a stereotype for softball players to be lesbians and some actually are well say for quittidch I'd say. :)
Yes please to Spies in New York!!!
Cursed Child was okay, I think some of its strengths in the story are seeing Harry as a parent, and also seeing how different Draco's child is compared to when Draco was young. I also liked imagining what I read atleast half of the time. I do believe that if Rowling had written the book herself, everything would've been more fleshed out because there were a couple of times where I was thinking "When did this happen" or "Where did this come from". However, there are some moments that definitely feel like fanfiction, or even one of the Starkid Harry Potter plays. Not spoilers at all, but when some characters call someone by their first name when we're used to them referring to them by their last name, even that throws me off and I've seen that with fanfiction too and I agree with MK that it does get weird when fanfiction takes a sexual turn and it's something you're not used to seeing with the characters (that's not what happens at all in the book though).
Also I'm surprised you haven't read The Silmarillion. I haven't either, or Children of Hurin or any of the "Untold Tales", though that is something I plan on doing at some point. But have you read The Hobbit?
Love it. Really Liked the craft. Maybe I gonna try that sometime.
I love the hot gluegun. Last time I made a little steampunk hat with it. (and burned my fingers a few times on the glue....)
Mary Kate is at 22,222 subs right now
I read Cursed Child and the story is disappointing but I'm going to see the play itself next year and I'm really excited for how they will bring the magic to the theatre! Also agree on movie Ginny being meh. I love Bonnie Wright but I feel sorry for her that they made Ginny such a shitty character while she's one of my faves in the books. Also can't wait for the next part, I love you both :3
oh toronto??? i want in!!
I loved watching you guys chat! can't wait for the second part :D also the wands are cool :D I also don't really like Ginny in the movies hahah, she's much better in the books... As for LOTR..as I fellow obsessive fan i wouldn't compare Sillmarillion to fanfiction really :'D There's so much cool info about the MiddleEarth and it gives so much more depth to the LOTR books, I would definately recommend reading it if you love LOTR :) although it is a bit hard and challenging to get through sometimes
Ballyhoo. You adorable seahorse 😍

Honestly I thought Spies was wonderful in terms of pacing and cohesion. Starkid is genius and innovative and unique in its field, but the playwriting isnt great theres a lot of pacing issues and flat jokes. Spies was far better in that respect
