- The 'lock-box' is finally fired! I had so much fun making this one, I think I will make more lidded jars with a locking mechanism.
The clay I used is Laguna 66, a white stoneware with a little sand in it. The slips are made form the same clay body with Mason stains. The clear glaze is the MS29 bright clear by laguna.
Happy potting!

I would love a video on you making one of your animal pieces. So cute! Would love to learn more sculpting .
I am in love with your planter, what a neat idea. I just love watching your videos, so inspiring. 😍
Thanks so much for chiming in!
Your mouse is super cute Monique! As are all the pieces. That locking box is so clever. But I think the star was that urn. What a stunning glaze combo. The swirls just accentuate the form and draw your eye around the piece. Bravo!
I agree Pat, I hope I can recreate it! Thanks for chiming in as always!
I,have a few boxes of black clay. Great ideas. Especially what slip and glaze combos
Your dragonfly urn ♥!!! The pink mugs on the black clay aren't may favourites... The mosaic planter is a really fun project I might try. Thanks for sharing all your work. It's inspiring!
Hi Deem, thanks for chiming in! I agree about the mugs, not my favorite at all! But if we don't try we will never know right?
@@nukuaceramicsbonaire But now that you have your white clay, you can make some pink mugs that you'll like again.
I absolutely love this! Could you please show how you glazed this? How is the patina showing in streaks? ❤
Love that planter too. Great idea! You made all those tiles on the planter too?? ❤
The cups look good but not my favorite either. The urn is beautiful.
I agree Sharon, they say great mind think alike lol! Thanks for leaving me a comment!
What plant is that for the hummers? Wonder if I can get it in SETX too.
Hey Monique I got a question your garbage barrels you put your clay in why do you do that and what are the white things hanging out the top
Hey Heidi, they are just big plastic barrels with a good fitting lid so I can store my clay. The white things are the edges of a big sheet of plastic that I put under the lids for more protection from the rain and to close them of even better so the clay stays moist.
@@nukuaceramicsbonaire ok that’s a good idea
