The distractions I face are video-games and my phone, and I believe that I can start removing them by spending more time with God in prayer and in scripture
If I game I keep my Bible in front of me open to the book I'm reading and in between matches or missions I'll read for a few minutes pray on what I read and then play again. Hope that helps you?
While spending time with the Lord, the enemy came with so many thoughts of my past trying to distract me constantly. I truly needed to hear this message because the more we practice stillness in His presence the more we recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and so overcome the enemy's lies. I don't really have any distractions because I wait till everyone is in bed when I pray. I been at my daughter's so I havent been able to worship like I would at my own residence.But I pray to myself all day while moving around. I am in transformation from my old self. Grasping the new to form in full form. Hallelujah praise ye the Lord Jesus Christ Amen ❤️🙏 I hear a strong stern voice, but smoothe! And have been having dreams. And having dreams that have a boat, rugged water, fire and wheat. Looked them up all are good signs of my transformation. Thankyou Jesus.

Thanks Pastor David. This lesson has reminded me when l was born again. I went home with the spirit of rejoicing, straight l went into my bedroom alone thanking God what he did from church. Then l was silent for few minutes, suddenly l heard the a multitude of people l can't describe singing melodious songs of God. I thought may be my neighbors where listening Christian music from the radio. I open the window, and paid attention to it. Nothing was coming out from the neighborhood or inside the house, l went to my bathroom as l knelt down again I heard the same voice of multitude of people singing melodious songs of God. He is coming again as conquering King. We all need the blood of the savior. All you have to do is receive it in your heart and believe the Jesus Christ was buried and raised from the death dead and is sitted on the Right hand of God you will be save. This was so very very very good! This really helps me understand practically how to differentiate the voices well the thoughts in my mind! Wich they are voice in a sense they can be so loud & over power the voice of Holy Spirit if you are beginning to develop the sense of hearing Holy Spirit & understanding His voice His leading! So beautiful! I absolutely can not wait to develop this sense & become more intimate with God & develop the most beautiful friendship with Holy Spirit!
Thank you! My distraction is my own voice when praying! I pour out and then I tend to keep talking. Need to then go silent. When I do God reveals amazing things to me including showing me what my crown looks like (apricot blossoms), playing with Jesus by an oak tree and stream, being in a valley and He showing me to look only at the parts with the sun shining and not to look at the shadowed area, and more. Some distractions are other people’s opinions, school performance. I can remove these distractions by meditating on God’s word day and night, learning what God’s says and thinks about me is what truly matters.
I'm afraid of being lonely. So I'll do anything even if it's being in toxic relationships In order not to be lonely. I wanna build my relationship with God so much I'm eager to hear the voice of spirit

Thank you Pastor David for this insightful teaching. In regards to the queation for conversation, i believe some of the distractions usually stems from our past. That the lives we used to live in the world before we became born again. Often times the devil tries to use that against us when we try to recognise the voice of the spirit by whispering to us how unworthy we are in Christ Jesus. I also believe this distraction can be eliminated by meditating on the words of God that assure us of our conviction in the name of the lamb and how worthy we are of the kingdom. God bless you all.
Pain from the past, the devil sending a friend to speak to at that moment you are alone and want to be alone, you can be seriously praying and someone just come in and start shouting, thank you David for the teaching.
Hello brother, just now before watching this video I went to pray and was unable to pray properly thus I asked holy spirit to help me he gave me word from Psalms so I read Psalms 121 and then worship Jesus I felt while worshipping God his presence and then I was silent tried to utter words or like praying everyday for family and all but God wanted me to just be silent and experience his presence I was still and suddenly other voices coming my mind distracting me I realised bring that in submission to God and asking God to help me he then helped me to focus on him by reminding me who he is from bible...it was amazing experience thus before sleeping I opened this and holy spirit said inside of me isn't this is what exactly we did today....All glory to God ❤️😊
All I want more than anything else is to develop intimacy with God to hear His voice & obey His ways! To go where He says go to speak when He says speak to truly be about my Fathers business! I'm not exactly sure why in the recent months it has been harder than ever just to pray to stop what in doing to pray to speak with my Father to develop this intimacy when this is my greater desire when I know that I know that I know this is what will bring my breakthrough to each & everything I need it & quicker than really anything other than a touch from His sovereign Hand! Well yes I do its probably a spiritual attack & it was thank God that's been broken & I've made progress still it is also my flesh and developing discipline! Thank God that He is so good and gracious & sovereign! I still am perplexed at the difficulty has been to do the one thing I desire to do the most! Now that doesnt make much since! Thoughts trying to have the power of discernment to determine what are true and what are not. Now I'm still learning this power of discernment and getting better bit only by knowing the Word of God.
If a message is from God, you would not need discernment. You would never use the discernment test in any other case to find out if you received a communication and who that communication is from. If you need discernment, it is not a solid basis for reality.

Thanks for your help, David. I've used your video as a guide for me to hear God's voice, as I have been struggling a bit to do so lately. I asked to be saved and born again. And I was going through a bit of a dilemma, and I needed God's opinion, a "yes" or "no" answer. I sat and sort of meditated on it, and I started to hear a sort of wind. Although I was thinking "no", I thought I heard the Wind say "no". And I thought that it could have just been my thoughts, but then I tried thinking "yes", but I heard nothing. Thank you and the Lord❤❤❤
I live in a very busy area where there is 24/7 traffic, dogs barking, police and ambulance sirens etc. No matter how hard i try, silencing the outside noises is near to impossible. The only thing i do to reduce the noise pollution is to rise up anytime between 12.00 am - 3.00 am and have my secret time with God. As far as quieting the soul (stillness), i am still trying hard.

I don't really have any distractions because I wait till everyone is in bed when I pray. I been at my daughter's so I havent been able to worship like I would at my own residence.But I pray to myself all day while moving around. I am in transformation from my old self. Grasping the new to form in full form. Hallelujah praise ye the Lord Jesus Christ Amen ❤️🙏 I hear a strong stern voice, but smoothe! And have been having dreams. And having dreams that have a boat, rugged water, fire and wheat. Looked them up all are good signs of my transformation. Thankyou Jesus.

Thanks Pastor David. This lesson has reminded me when l was born again. I went home with the spirit of rejoicing, straight l went into my bedroom alone thanking God what he did from church. Then l was silent for few minutes, suddenly l heard the a multitude of people l can't describe singing melodious songs of God. I thought may be my neighbors where listening Christian music from the radio. I open the window, and paid attention to it. Nothing was coming out from the neighborhood or inside the house, l went to my bathroom as l knelt down again I heard the same voice of multitude of people singing melodious songs of God.
I shared to my spiritual pastor he said "that was angels ministering songs to you" I praise the Lord!!!

He is coming again as conquering King. We all need the blood of the savior. All you have to do is receive it in your heart and believe the Jesus Christ was buried and raised from the death dead and is sitted on the Right hand of God you will be save. Paul says in his epistle to the Hebrews [9:22]: “Almost everything is cleansed according to the law with blood, and without shedding of blood there will be no forgiveness.” We do not know where Paul came from with this statement?
Did the book not mention that the Lord forgave Aaron his mistake, and commanded that he and his descendants be made priests over the children of Israel (Exodus 40:12)

And we say, as Moses and Aaron said to the Lord: O God, God of the spirits of all human beings, does Adam make a mistake so that you become angry with all human beings?

This was so very very very good! This really helps me understand practically how to differentiate the voices well the thoughts in my mind! Wich they are voice in a sense they can be so loud & over power the voice of Holy Spirit if you are beginning to develop the sense of hearing Holy Spirit & understanding His voice His leading! So beautiful! I absolutely can not wait to develop this sense & become more intimate with God & develop the most beautiful friendship with Holy Spirit!

Thank you! My distraction is my own voice when praying! I pour out and then I tend to keep talking. Need to then go silent. When I do God reveals amazing things to me including showing me what my crown looks like (apricot blossoms), playing with Jesus by an oak tree and stream, being in a valley and He showing me to look only at the parts with the sun shining and not to look at the shadowed area, and more. Thank you for this lesson!! ❤

Some distractions are other people’s opinions, school performance. I can remove these distractions by meditating on God’s word day and night, learning what God’s says and thinks about me is what truly matters.
I'm afraid of being lonely. So I'll do anything even if it's being in toxic relationships In order not to be lonely. I wanna build my relationship with God so much I'm eager to hear the voice of spirit

In regards to the queation for conversation, i believe some of the distractions usually stems from our past. That the lives we used to live in the world before we became born again. Often times the devil tries to use that against us when we try to recognise the voice of the spirit by whispering to us how unworthy we are in Christ Jesus. I also believe this distraction can be eliminated by meditating on the words of God that assure us of our conviction in the name of the lamb and how worthy we are of the kingdom.

Hello brother, just now before watching this video I went to pray and was unable to pray properly thus I asked holy spirit to help me he gave me word from Psalms so I read Psalms 121 and then worship Jesus I felt while worshipping God his presence and then I was silent tried to utter words or like praying everyday for family and all but God wanted me to just be silent and experience his presence I was still and suddenly other voices coming my mind distracting me I realised bring that in submission to God and asking God to help me he then helped me to focus on him by reminding me who he is from bible...it was amazing experience thus before sleeping I opened this and holy spirit said inside of me isn't this is what exactly we did today....All glory to God ❤️😊

All I want more than anything else is to develop intimacy with God to hear His voice & obey His ways! To go where He says go to speak when He says speak to truly be about my Fathers business! I'm not exactly sure why in the recent months it has been harder than ever just to pray to stop what in doing to pray to speak with my Father to develop this intimacy when this is my greater desire when I know that I know that I know this is what will bring my breakthrough to each & everything I need it & quicker than really anything other than a touch from His sovereign Hand! Well yes I do its probably a spiritual attack & it was thank God that's been broken & I've made progress still it is also my flesh and developing discipline! Thoughts trying to have the power of discernment to determine what are true and what are not. Now I'm still learning this power of discernment and getting better bit only by knowing the Word of God.
If a message is from God, you would not need discernment. You would never use the discernment test in any other case to find out if you received a communication and who that communication is from. If you need discernment, it is not a solid basis for reality.

Thanks for your help, David. I've used your video as a guide for me to hear God's voice, as I have been struggling a bit to do so lately. I asked to be saved and born again. And I was going through a bit of a dilemma, and I needed God's opinion, a "yes" or "no" answer. I sat and sort of meditated on it, and I started to hear a sort of wind. Although I was thinking "no", I thought I heard the Wind say "no". And I thought that it could have just been my thoughts, but then I tried thinking "yes", but I heard nothing. I live in a very busy area where there is 24/7 traffic, dogs barking, police and ambulance sirens etc. No matter how hard i try, silencing the outside noises is near to impossible. The only thing i do to reduce the noise pollution is to rise up anytime between 12.00 am - 3.00 am and have my secret time with God. As far as quieting the soul (stillness), i am still trying hard.
