The ex augment transfer is the worse part of the update, like a slice of meat dangling that you know is a trap that most players can't afford. Why would they not let us choose which augments to lose. Instead they purposely try to wipe out progress.

It’s also a one time thing. Once it’s done it’s done and you can then transfer everything the next time you do it.
The reason they don’t let you pick and choose is so you aren’t building this mega god roll just by picking and choosing what off of each weapon that drops for you. That would be a lil too OP.
@@SuperDifference I'm not talk about the ex, I'm talking about the old augments. If you gonna lose three of them, then thry should have allowed players to drop three and keep the rest of the old ones. Now you have to re-apply them and that's a hard sell to your casual players who can't afford too many Aug protection items.

I would like to assume so augments are not completely one and done deal that you can just transfer over till they get power crept, as without affixing the capsules itself would lose their value fairly soon. Also "luckily" only thing you have to redo is weapon affixes "for now".
I believe all classes get to break-fall, though only Bravers or Braver subclasses can recover HP when they do. I'm a Slayer/Waker most of the time and I can break-fall as well in order to avoid landing face-down in the dirt; I don't get HP from the deal, but with that augment, I would probably get to let the enemy taste a reasonably big bullet.
All I can say is finding the right ex augments with the H/P/X/D/R you want is a pain in the arse, as you need to see if the weapon has the three other augments you want too... The search function needs to be updated to be able to find these a lot easier, because it takes ages to keep on changing the "H/P/X/D/R" around on the augments, just to find that if the weapon even has all three, besides the specific H/P/X/D/R.
It's also very good for Hunter and Fighters as well, due to the Sword and Knuckles sidestep counts being an instant gap-closers. The Best part about having the right combination of EX Augment they completely replace the Secondary or Main class meaning you could fixate on classes that give Photon Power gain, Survival, or Extra damage.
If it's going to wipe all my existing augs, I'll probably only use EX on *new* weapons going forward. My main Wing is doing just fine right now, but I'll make a new Wing for a different class soon and put EX on it.
Also, nice luck on the affixes. I managed to pull off the same thing on a Glan Gigas recently too.
I was thinking the same thing too I just put all the “BiS” augments on my saber only to see this come out and if I lose to this transfer I’d rather just make a whole new weapon instead and besides I’m still above 200 potency so I’m not hurting for a upgrade.
I just use LC augments only since im not seeking to go ham. Problem is I have choice paralysis.

personally, as a slayer, i would rather avoid taking damage at all costs, so i'm trying to get lively starling and tri shield
Gonna be skipping that as a force, I'm squishy enough without intentionally burning myself.
I had that burn ex augment and it was not fun for gunner.
Glan Gigas Maste and Halphinale (Lux) re-agumenting... As Monica in classic PSO2 says in most instances of boosting equipment "Success!!! Thank Goddness.", as yup, you really gambled your (re)augmentations, and yeah, I still have to farm more EX aguments before I do that.
Wonder how many people regret putting them on the weapon instead waiting for the augments transfer to see how it works.

Break-fall is not exclusive to Braver class every class can break-fall by bressing jump after getting yeeted by enemy to flip back up before you faceplant in to the ground, if you failed that QTE you will have to go through the whole animation to get back up.
Braver just have a bonus from skilltree that after you use break-fall you will recover some HP

And all classes can break-fall, just Braver is the only one that recovers HP when doing so.
I also don't think I'd consider anything about the augment transfer system an oversight. I believe it behaves exactly as it was described, and is still a huge step up from not having any such transfer system. The surprise introduction of EX Augments may have thrown a wrench into some plans, but I'd say is a welcome addition.

Dang I figured it out yesterday and was about to pull my hair out realizing I was going to LOSE the current augments on my gunblade and I JUST built it too. It sucks but I hope sega looks into that.

I don't like the all-or-nothing approach to EX augment transfers, I wonder if there is a way to just transfer over one or two EX augments while keeping others already in the weapon?

Curious if some of these effects stack on your class as I found one that I want to use for my waker class that has the 20% chance not to consume healing items when used wondering if that stacks on top of the wakers existing skill which does the same, also has the increased down factor to enemies and survive with 1 hp would me me a darn good tank.
I mistakenly transferred Ex Augments onto my Verz; as I thought there would be a final option on the tabs. So, that weapon is now ruined and so, I'm kitting out the new 11 star lol.
Actually waker has the one hp thing as well but it's a passive skill and it works well because I hardly get killed when I'm on waker. Idk if people knew or not
I checked the eredim potential and it appears decent, do you think it can rival the wingard or a good upgrade from xover?
This is very confusing, so when we do have an augment transfer ticket, and we wish to transfer augments to a new weapon, it has to consume all the augments that are already on the weapon?? Or can we pick and choose specific augments???

Thankfully I'm still using a Reyaar and with LC capsules. Wouldn't be too upset to remove them or just wait for a new weapon.

So, what exactly is the point of Augment Transfers?
If adding Ex Augments destroys everything you had, then isn't there is zero value in doing transfers if you are on a budget?
The ex are new and they are doing it this way so we can’t pick and choose what EX we want from a jillion different drops. It would be too OP.
Once you get the EX you’ll never lose anytning again. You can transfer ALL. The reason this is an issue now is because of the EX, and the fact they don’t want us doing what everyone wants….
To repeat. This is a one time thing. You’ll never lose augments again after this. Just transfer to your hearts content - there are two passes.
This is also a pain mostly to players that already invested into Wingys. Others who are still on Reyars for example like myself are just gonna switch over to Eredim and that's the end of it well until new weapons come out then we stick new EX's on thise first then we transfer the rest

Not bad for us that just used really cheap LC augs or for newer players in general, but for those that got some of the high end augs not so good. Some augs will be easier to get now though cause I am getting a pretty good amount of Eradi Souls so Gladia Souls will be much easier to obtain.
@@candywing7798 i was wondering this. isn't the new eredim more as good as the wingard and they are free? I spent 100 hours grinding to get a wingard and the only one I got was a launcher which I immediately sold. I have a bunch of eredims of different classes already just from an hour of gameplay. and you can buy base items for $1000 in the shop!

It transfers everything unfortunately, you can not pick and choose.

Eredium is more than good enough, use one with some nice EX augments and slap on some LC capsules + Fully Enhance it and you're good to go!

I hate that SEGA made the same mistake that base game had with transfers overwriting everything. The EX augments should of worked like S grade augments where you could pick and choose what to move over as long as the weapon or armor was compatible. The only downside was that you had to pick which regular augments needed to get swapped. It was so close to being a god like change. It's still a good change, but very flawed.
can you transfer augments from armors or is it just weapons only?
you can augment transfer for armors too, but we do not have EX Augments for Armors... (YET?)

I was trying to figure out why I can't transfer my Einea Armor augments to Einea Armor Arga.
Nvm, I figured it out. I didn’t had all the slot available.
So, in order to save money and Augments... take a second to plan it out by putting the Ex Augs in BEFORE you augment the weapon at all.... good to know!
Or waited for the augments transfer to be added to see how it works before putting the powerful augments on your weapon. That what I did and save n-meseta and capsules that I farm.

This augment system best suits returning and beginner players. For veteran/seasoned players like myself, it’s a complete nightmare…! I’ve spent way too much meseta and resources for my current weapons to be simply wiped out by 3 measly ex augments. SEGA GOTTA FIX THIS!!!

Its an eleven star so its def an upgrade (or at least a sidegrade compared to win). Though the potency's an overall boost in pot, Crit rate and reduction in PP consumption with a passive boost pb charging when attacking.
So the EX transfer should be changed sooner than later. Didn’t know transferring EX from my fixa 3 potential 6 blades to base katana would mean I couldn’t place EX augs on my blades anymore. Expensive upgraded weapon a pain, expensive upgraded weapon that’s practically useless now, F!
Okay nvm now it works? Had to leave shop, wait and go back to shop then select transfer? I honestly blame Xbox for this one, but idk?

So my max potency is like 170% where am I missing potency from? I'm using Xover and Einia armor with 30% pots... where is my missing potency lmao??? they are 7 slotted but I'm not using any of the giga expensive mats like glan gigas or mega triyal or anaddi's// So I'm confused
If you already acknowledged that you aren’t using the big augments, that’s the issue. You won’t hit high pot without them. It’s pretty simple really, to get high pot you want to use the highest potency augments. Math be math’n.
@@SuperDifference Well the difference is insane. Im seeing 230% pot in some cases, is it multiplicative with other pots? I don't see why there would be such a big discrepancy here. I upgraded my Xover with some EX now and my old pot was 21% r.atk and new was 30% pot somehow took me from 179% r.atk to 195% r.atk pot. What am I not understanding here? The augs are additive with eachother? boosting them in some way?

@@iLuminayeYes they are multiplicative, not additive. So multiple 1% boosts can cause a massive gain.
@@Gillian_FFXIV Nah they're super expensive, I'm just using Gladia soul, Halphinale LC, Highael Domina LC, Gigas maste LC and EX's on my units it's similar without the EX's, Triplble or spiryo triyal. I think I have 1 or two premium augment on my units but not on weapon.
Pretty sure the break fall works on every class with that augment. There are no specific class only EX augments.
Definitely not an oversight by SEGA. If that were the case. We could have amazing god roll EX augments very very easily if we could pick and choose. It’s a one time thing, it sucks, but we’ll never have to do it again.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in the EX augment transfer because it overrides everything. Once again SEGA doesn't respect the time or money they've put into their gear. Like me who over time gathered and prepared the end game augs for my gear.

transfer to 9* armor +61 and use 8* old +80 0 augment to material
i'm sorry for this guy i purches out meta his armor and weapon and thankful him for sell cheap armor and weapon without seeing livesteam
