With all those feedbacks, Supercell decided to do this. Absolutely shameless. I don't even play CR anymore, it's been years due to worse matchmaking. But I watch CR videos often. I was thinking of coming back into the game. Now with these upcomming pay2win update. I will not even think of coming back into the game. I feel you guys, who play this game everyday. Good luck.
I played this game until early 2017 and... this game is so much worse. A few years ago there was about 40-50 cards and there was so much fun without paying. 😢

I think the evo barbs with lava hound and of course the air supports is a really strong deck since the evo barbs are pretty much 5 lumberjacks.
Not only evolutions are broken but also it makes the game too dynamic. I mean that almost every evolution like firecracker or mortar can demolish the the tower by itself in main time, so there will be usually less overtimes

No. You can get them for free. You only need one evolution. And even if you did have to buy them, it is still atleast 100x cheaper than it was to max princess and miner when they released and were objectively the best cards in the game and took thousands of dollars to max. Either its always been a p2w game or it never was, but it definitely didnt start with this update that you dont need to spend a single dollar on to compete against credit card warriors

I don't know why OJ was saying that firecracker wasn't that good when you guys were playing together. I just don't think he was thinking it through fully.
They have literally killed the game.
Following are the reasons why communities are quiting this game-
1. They removed the old pass.
2. They removed the gems from mastery levels.
Now let's talk about level 15.
We never actually wanted lvl 15 instead they could've brought new cards.
Also, they promised "NO GOLD" for new levels. TF!!!! I'm literally upgrading my cards through gold only. Atleast they could've make them a bit cheaper cuz it's way more fuckn expensive. It will literally take 2 years or so (for F2P players that also only if you play continuously).
I had spend 7 years of my life in this game and now it's not fun anymore. They never listen to their community. 💔

The elite issue can be solved if only 1 level 15 card is allowed in your deck. There could be a level 15 slot similar to the current evolution slot. In this way:
1. Elite Levels are no longer frustrating, because:
a) in the worst case you're only dealing with 1 overlevelled card; and,
b) for many it will even mean a level playing field.
2. Elite Levels will even be fun, as it is nice to have your favourite or most important card at a higher level. It will give a similar kick as the Mirror once did.
3. Moreover, there will also be a lot of strategic consideration involved:
a) you can have a stronger win condition for that awe-inspiring push; or,
b) you can level up your Fireball or Zap so you can play it similar to a Trap Card in Yu-Gi-Oh! and obliterate a Wizard or Barb Barrel. Or in reverse, have those cards survive those Spells by being overlevelled themselves.
4. It also makes playing with the 'same' deck more fun, as you can give it a different flavour by deciding which of your cards you want to give an Elite Boost.
5. This will also invite players to aim for attaining level 15 cards as the above reasons provide an exciting incentive! At the very least, a lot more exciting than the prospect of an everlasting grind simply to overcome an unfair disadvantage.
So all in all, by just having 1 level 15 card in your deck, games will be less frustrating and, dare I say it, even more fun! Even levelling up your cards will be more fun! And although the exchange rate for higher rarity cards should probably still be addressed, as does the overall cost; at the very least with this method, even that will be a lot less hard to swallow.
IMPORTANT: This is actually not my own idea! u/YellowIsHere posted this on Reddit, but I wanted to give it more attention because I think it will solve most of our and also Supercell's issues with Elite Level!

@@clashwithshane i agree it should be 2 but its 3 so you have to place the skeletons 3 times before getting the evolved version on your fourth. Thats basically (3-4 x 3) cards depends on champion until you get the skeletons back which means you place a lot more troops to cycle to a evolved. You get about 1-3 times to play it in a match and with how easily it gets dealed with makes it tbh the worst. And If skeleton is your last card its basically even lower gameplay of it. The cycle should be like the firecracker in my opinion. Wasted 30$ for this evolution hoping it would be better 😭

@@dimosvelisaris549 First of all. I use a 2.9 miner deck and ive tried a lower one. Your skeletons just doesn’t get enough gameplay in the higher levels of the game. You can use it three or two times inn a game. While RG at the other side you can straight up royal giant and eg evo push at the same time. Its bs. Deserves some love with how easily it gets countered.

It would have been better if all the big youtubers all agreed with each other to not spend on the game anymore, before the update dropped, as a way of protest.
The game is f2p friendly. Remember when princess and miner were objectively the best cards in teh game and cost thousands of dollars to max or you would be stuck with level 1 as a f2p player? Today a f2p player can max their deck in a few months. Objectively speaking it is easier for a f2p player to compete with credit card warriors than ever before. Unless by f2p friendly you mean "wah I want every card in the game maxed even though I can only use 8 in my deck" in which case very good point, keep virtue signaling
