my primary school was around AMK and at that time can be a little messy, the school's not even around anymore (Hong Dao Primary), I used to go arcade a lot and its a common sight you see people stealing from other's backpack when they play e.g those gun machine etc with their bag on their back.

Hi all, by any chance yall could discuss on topic like "Nothing to lose, or give up and go ahead?" As a youth in my 20s in SG, I am feeling very lost over my decisions. As much as I have a goal in mind, there are many factors that "stop" me from reaching my personal goal. Mainly because of my parent's vision for me, my filial to pay respect & consider for my parents, my current academic background (degree), my current job (financial independent). Not gonna lie, there are times whereby i wonder if I'm living for myself or I'm living to fit my parents' / society's standard. Hmmmm.... just lose lo~. Thank you in advance for your time to read this, and hope to hear different opinions from yall. XIEXIE.
don't know your whole situation, but you have to live for yourself. You have to respect your parents, yes, but you are not living your life for them. Do what makes you happy, you only live once. All the best

Ang mo beng and Chinese beng they act and do things very differently.
I was a Chinese beng but my school got ang mo beng cos I was in 1 of the top school. My time not Simon's and Ryan's era. We did not wear converse or what outdoor backpack but have JPG wallet though. My era was full suit branded time; Versace, Trussadi, Armani, JPG, Sonia Rykiel, Moschino, MCM, Istante, hunting world and etc.
Also got arrested thrice. 1 time police for robbery (but I didn't do it lah), 1 time SSB and 1 time CNB raid at Canto (mistakenly arrested). Lucky all no charges and released on that day.
Now an entrepreneur running a few business. My ex gang member especially those my seniors all became entrepreneur and those same level one either still don't know how to think or became entrepreneur or working.

Look at these people look how proud they are when sharing their past glory. If I were them, I would not share a single bit as these are stupid, childish, irresponsible and foolish act. By sharing these stories many youngster would want to be like them " SATKI " but they will pay the ultimate price for it. Stop glorifying these people .
i would rather make those stupid mistakes from a very young age and comes into realisation to make a change earlier. Hence in the future you can look back and laugh about it. Rather than being like some guaikia jc kids after entering uni found out the word "fun" and start making those stupid mistakes.

As a 39 adult, I think it a good example for the teenagers out there to see if you join secret society and take drug. You will end up in Changi Prison and Urine test always. So different ERA liao but if in my past got this kind of ppl talking of this. I think will I won't end up wasting my time doing all those dumb stuff and join those street gang and do those illegal stuff to make an earning last time. As me, I lucky because NS really make me change due to when almost ORD. All my platoon mates all are looking whether want to sign on army, police or firefighter and some will want to continue studies. I really lost and keep asking myself "Hey what you want to be in the future and what your career path?". Becos seeing my platoon mates all got plan and this really suddenly change me from an un-mature young man to a man. I continue studies and go on Uni-SIM to pick up an upper diploma and continue with later a degree. If the teenagers watch liao also still want to continue it then too bad your parent and school cannot educate you then let the government do it.

But really if when the man start to explore this when they got the spending power wow I see a lot of young colleagues kenna hooked to KTV and those Thai Disco, spending almost their whole salary in it. As if I am close to the younger colleague and I will soft talk to him but normally no use liao.
