She's so hypnotic. Hardly moves. Directs her voice straight ahead from the heart and we believe. A lesson. So simple.
Its an old word called 'grace' women used to move with grace and some still do but its an almost lost art.
A singer who has a similar style is Astrud Gilberto. She never uses vibrato and barely uses inflections and the effect is like listening to a lover talking to you in private. A guitar teacher once told me after I sang him a song; vibrato is for amateurs. What a revelation! It's true. Real sincerity reaches us without the bells and whistles. Neither Paul nor John use vibrato.
