Allow me to be (one of) the first to say: Pumping is big business - and not every pump you see on social media or product you see for pumping is the right one for you.
Here’s why I say that though…
Pumping is necessary for many moms. I’m so glad that there is more recognition of this option.
But with any rise in recognition comes companies that want to be involved. And while many of these companies are wonderful and create great innovations, there is a lot of money in the pumping market. Some of this is pushed into influencer marketing - and while many people promoting pumps and accessories truly love them, it doesn’t mean it’s the right pump for YOU (or that it will work better than what you have).
It can make decision fatigue even harder as you try and figure out what pump to buy - and what (if any accessories) are really needed.
