Over 5k downrange. 507k Vulcan. lok brass palmswells and extended release button. Aluminum basepads and eemann ultimate trigger. Not 1 malfunction. 3” groupings fast fire at 25yds. Things fantastic. Carry condition 1 or halfcocked w safety.

Yeah, haha. Long time 1911 guy 😅. Just have to remove the overtravel screw for the eemann trigger to work. Tolerances on the double action are tight on the s2c.

Someone just pointed out to me that on page 8 of the manual. They state specifically against engaging the manual safety in the half cocked position. Apparently though it will work on some models it can cause damage to the trigger mechanism. In light of the widespread commentary advocating for this method of carry I just thought I’d put it out there as I wasn’t aware of this myself. So I suppose it’s condition 1 or half cocked w the safety off 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just got mine yesterday. If you want to carry this pistol safely then use the safety. That way you won't have to worry about dropping it and it going off. I installed a larger safety on mine and now it just an easy audible click.

    • @frusignu2011
      @frusignu2011 Před 4 měsíci

in order to have it not drop and smack you should add extra safety measure and put it in half cock with safety on. Just got mine 2 weeks ago and have not fired it one time yet :(

I converted this to sao and carry it like a 1911. With a new hammer and a new sao trigger, the trigger almost runs like a 1911 trigger but I have the CZ ergos that i love.

    • @echo24tactical

Strait from the manual on page 8 copy and paste…
      Engaging the Safety
Push the safety up to the Safety-On position (Fig. 5) until the red warning dot is covered.
The safety in this position blocks the trigger mechanism and slide, thus preventing the pulling of the trigger and operating the slide.
Since the trigger mechanism has been specifically adjusted, it is possible to move the safety onto the "SAFE" position even if the hammer is placed on the safety notch. In this case, however, it is strongly not recommended to engage the safety because the trigger mechanism might be damaged when cocking the hammer by force or pulling the trigger. If damage to the trigger mechanism occurs, let it be repaired by a certified gunsmith.
Besides the method previously described it is possible to put the pistol into a safety mode and still be ready to fire immediately:
Load the pistol. Grasp the grip, POINT IN A SAFE DIRECTION. With a thumb press on the grooved area (thumb piece) of the hammer, pull the trigger and release the hammer slowly forward (Fig. 6) until it rests on the action or safety notch of the hammer. Release the trigger.
Practise this operation very carefully to avoid an accidental discharge! We strongly recommend to practise this operation beforehand with the pistol unloaded!
In this state the pistol is safe for all normal handling and at the same time ready for immediate use.

Need to do more research on that.

So I really love the Staccato CS it’s my go to edc often. It’s a different animal. Why an extra grand for a staccato? I don’t have an a justifiable answer. I’ve shot the S2C and the cs together and gave the winner to the S2C.
I still have it in its stock configuration, Havnt done Anything with it yet. I’m still shooting it and gathering some ideas. The trigger has some concerns for me personally to carry. I discuss it further with my comparison videos if you want to check it out. Nothing wrong with the trigger. It’s remarkable for a race gun. EDC I’m not sure yet. I appreciate you reaching out. Let me know what you end up doing to it!

Forgot to mention. ANR makes a good iwb holster. I got it with a matching spare mag holster. Works great. That being said still waiting for t1 to come out with an s2c axis elite even though there are certain ones for other guns that work provided they are the light bearing models and you run a tlr or something.

If I am not using the safety it increases the poundage and distance travel of the trigger making it safer to carrier vs fully cocked no safety and the hammer is already in a safe position not able to strike without being pulled to the rear again

I really love both of them. Here’s how I’ll answer this. After market support is amazing for the Walther. Not so much for the CZ, typically new CZ models takes years to obtain the support. The demand just isn’t there. If I had the choice to throw one away today and only keep one. Because of the ergonomics, and the way it shoots. I’d throw the Walther away. And keep the CZ S2 compact.
I don’t want to be little the Walther but if this was a diving competition the Walther would get a 9.2 % and the CZ would get a 9.4% taking the gold medal 😂😂 but they are two separate animals. I feel part of this could come down to personal preference as well. I hope this helps
