    Binge watching your vlogs to catch up! Loved your cover stitch guidance, thank you. I am lucky enough to have one too, but I have never been brave enough to try It on a neckline. X

    I am using my cover stitch machine for woven fabrics to learn how to use it. The more you use it the better.

    Love your enthusiasm for sewing. I’m going away this weekend and am trying to sew like crazy to take some new handmade bits, as you say why do we do it to ourselves 🤦‍♀️😂

    Hi Judi, I just love that fabric for your Mississippi dress and I think it will look just great. I remember you buying it.😃 The skyline tees look fabulous on you. I am trying to remember to use my cover stitch for neck bands too as it does give such a nice finish. Can’t wait to see you wearing all your lovely clothes.❤

    Really enjoyed this, Judy so thanks for sharing! After this, I’m going to explore Sew House Seven - love your T-shirts. I started sewing 3 years ago (very very late in the day in retirement and in lockdown🎉) and just love it. I’ve gone in full on and bought a coverstitch machine about 6 months ago. When it works well it’s amazing and I love it. Have you tried woolly nylon on the inside of the neckline (it’s sooo comfortable) and variegated Wonderfil especially if you do it inside out? - the effects are stunning. However, you’re right and it’s a learning curve, particularly lining up the seams and going over the joins. Anyway, there’s no escaping the fact that you have to practise - no pain, no gain. 😁

    Dear Judi, often watch you ,but today I want to say a big thank you for talking and showing how you use your overlocker and cover stitch.
    I have sewn off and on for many years and now that I am retired I am doing more and enjoying myself. I am thinking about buying an overlocker and am very
    tempted with the baby lock.
    Thankyou again, think your t shirt is fabulous.
    Ann .

    The Closet Core tee has this idea of a covered seam running along the back of the tee, and I use it now fairly frequently as I really like that feature. I also like the pattern, it’s a nice straighter fit for a tee. You might get that pattern just for the technique.

    Hi Judy, Rachel from sewing French seams always puts binding across the back of the neck so her tee shirts. I think she has a blog showing you how to do it. Happy sewing.🧵🪡🇦🇺

    I love your vlogs ,your personality is so lovely. It was great to hear an experienced sewer reminding people to go slow to achieve great results. Love your makes. Is there a particular shop you like to buy your tee shirt fabrics from?

    Judy, you look absolutely fabulous! You looked wonderful before but I think you are even slimmer now! I need to lose weight so I am thinking if Slimming World or WW. Any idea which is better?

    • @runningsewandsew
      @runningsewandsew  Před měsícem +1

      I can confidently say that it was Slimming World and exercise together - just as they suggest, but it takes time. It took me 8 months xx

    Sorry for all the messages, Judy, but I am watching and asking questions as I go along. Did you apply the red neck binding on the t shirt you are wearing the same way as the white one you are demonstrating? I love it.

    I love your videos Ms Judi.
    For binding the seam of the neck, I watched sewing Julia (czcams.com/video/D3P0BL8JW2k/video.html) at the 59 min mark. I hope that is helpful.
