Nice hike. We love the area. We have done a couple of trips in the SNRA, but we have spent a little more time in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. If you are ever in the area and looking for an adventure, look us up. We love a good adventure.

I think it's only certain national parks that you can't bring dogs in. Shenandoah NP, for example, allows dogs.
yes, there are a few. White Sands in NM and Great Sand Dunes in CO. But almost all NP in the West don't allow them on trails.
