Volvo EC40 MY2024 | More Power, More Range, New Name = Better?

This is the 2024 or 2025 Model Year of the Volvo EC40. The only crossover that Volvo currently offers. It's also with the EX40 the first rear wheel drive car from Volvo in over 25 years. Has the refresh for the new model year done good? and what is all new?

The beeping sound you hear around minute 6 is the cooling pump of the battery cooling - confirmed by Volvo. I have the same in my XC40 Recharge model 2024. Quite annoying and very noticeable when driving in traffic jam / city traffic and/or longer trip's! Their newer battery's all seem to suffer from that issue!

How is the computer on this? Any good?

I personally haven’t driven a Tesla, so I can’t comment on it much. The Volvo information is a hit and miss. It’s amazing as it uses google for navigation, voice recognition and apps like CZcams, Spotify and more. It’s just not that nice to use as most features are stuck behind 3 different screens. And apple CarPlay/android not being wireless is a disappoint
