1959 MF Tractor Rebuild #3: Priming and painting! IT LOOKS AMAZING!

- In this Collins Country video we make a lot more progress on the 1959 Massey Ferguson Workbull 202 Tractor rebuild. We completely finished grinding and prepping the tractor. Then we primed everything and put the first coat of yellow pain on the entire tractor and all of the small pieces. It looks absolutely amazing. We are very impressed with the progress. All of the time and work is now paying off. Stay tuned as we continue to work towards the finished tractor. Happy homesteading!

Nasons good paint. Don't over thin it. Overspray given, I use hvlp guns to minimize it. I use TCP GLOBAL for most of my paint stuff, great prices, always get my colors right. Friendly folks, low shipping costs.

great build, yes the over spray is normal, just an idea, I have used the rails my rollup door to hang the same type of plastic from to contain the paint, just remember to use a respirator for paint fumes, take care and keep up on the videos. anything new with your sawmill

why is it, do you think, that your channel isnt getting the views that some other homesteading channels get?
+@gppizza8979 Who knows. Has a lot to do with the algorithm. We just post videos to teach people stuff… if we make money that’s an added bonus:)
@@CollinsCountry ive seen some questionable homesteading channels do great and some do not-so-great. ive seen some quality homesteading channels do great and some no-so-great. im trying to understand how the algorithm can be that arbitrary.
it doesnt make sense to me. i imagine some channels might get a little frustrated, ceteris parabis.

@@CollinsCountryi havent done a deep dive into your channel, but i get the impression your channel falls under the quality homesteading category. i think your thumbnails and titles are good and catchy. i guess i was just struck on how low your view counts are for what seems like good information. like i said, ive seen a lot worse do a lot better.
there has to be some kind of secret sauce you havent been able to get a hold of that would send your videos to expected levels of exposure.

Don't cheap out on the paint. You did way to much work for it to be all mis matched later on. Trust me it will drive you crazy later just to save a few bucks.
😬 I did mismatch on the loader and backhoe but I do gotta say.. looks dang close. I’m not a painter at all but glad I am learning.
