Just remember that you only get sad because how beautiful of a life you shared, all the lovely memories of your best cat buddy won't go away and will live with you forever. Small tips here!
While you are exploring with spelunker potion effect activated, you can use binoculars to increase your search area without the need to tunnel through all the dirt and stone for that view, which saves a lot of the status effect duration time!
I'm surprised nobody told you this, if you equip the Royal Gel from King Slime, the Jungle Slime wont shoot stingers at you; and since the Jungle is next to the Shimmer, maybe you could place a Jungle Pylon there and create a minecart track directly to the Jungle Temple, I think the Zoologist sells that mount that mines while you place rails.
Also you still need to grab the heart crystal, mana star and fruit upgrades at the shimmer.

Now that you have shimmer, it is worth killing the traveling merchant and throwing his hat into the shimmer
there are other cool buffs from shimmer! they are all permanent
Aegis fruit: gives 4 defense
Vital Crystal: Increases life regen
Arcane Crystal: increases mana regen
Galaxy Pearl: Increases luck
peddlers satchel: +1 slot for the travelling merchant
Hello Python, you can gather the glowing moss with a paint scraper from the painter. You can then line the hellevator with stone bricks where you can spread that moss overtime. That way, your hellevator glows pretty without using torches and also acts as a biome shield.
You can also make fishing lures with the glowing moss after scraping it up.
hey python , to speed up your shimmering you can just click on the item and press T to throw it, it should be faster than dragging your cursor out of the inventory every time
Good afternoon sir Python. I am currently binge watching this series and thought about a possible idea for the comments of the day, instead of hanging them from the roof, or placing them on a wall. You could have a whole build designated to the like a mineshaft that can spread the world, or even use it to fast travel to farms that won't have pylons to them because pylons are limited in supply. Hope you and all the veiwers who read this comment have a wonderful day.
Just had another possible idea if you do go for this. The mineshaft can be tied into a cavern pylon build possibly.
It's certainly something on my list of builds I wanna get done on this world so I wouldn't worry 😀
12:30 There's actually moss bricks - so you can take a paint scraper to that neon moss and make it into some super colourful bricks.
(And try throwing the moss into shimmer 😉)

It may be more efficient to use the jungle pylon to access the shimmer, then you could put the cavern pylon anywhere else in the world!! Just a suggestion.

Nah, not really, most other OG Terraria CZcamsrs have either jumped ship to something else or don't make vids anymore. Other folks got other stuff going on so trying to organise something like that would be extremely difficult sadly 😅

I find it useful to dig a trench a few blocks below the shimmer. That way if I fall in I only fall 3 or 4 blocks.

Hey Python, I am currently doing my own playthrough of this seed on console and I have noticed that some of the underground structures, like minecart tracks and jungle shrines are in different locations or just don't exist at all. Just wanted to point this out incase some people were wondering why they couldn't find certain items in the locations where you found them.

I find it amusing how all of us remind you of extra storage when ya go exploring and you still go without it hahhaha keep up with the good work and would like to see a boss themed build for each boss relic and to have a chest/armorstand for all the items that boss drops in it would be a amazing idea and why not make a ship build on the ocean for the ocean pylon instead of the sand house?

edit 1: im still going through the video, finding diamond veins like this with mods like calamity/magic storage on would go wild here, especially for early game rogues (crystalline)

I shall not give up on suggesting the queen bee before the brain of cthulhu! The bee gun and hive pack combo is just so good you need to try it.

@@Sahilow I killed the queen bee before the brain on my master mode mage run with just a vilethorn and a thunder zapper. Queen bee is nowhere NEAR as hard as wof
@@abinashworlds860it's not skipping steps, queen bee isn't locked for after brain/eater. You can take on queen bee right off rip if you want to, there is no set placement. Plus it's a simple boss, even in mastermode, and it will make his fight for the brain even easier.

@@abinashworlds860 I mean if he feels like it sure. Your right. The difference is the wall of flesh is the boss that activates hardmode when beaten. Nothing happens if you kill queen bee. Also technically wof is locked you need a demon/nightmare pick to get the hellstone required for a molten pick (which is needed so you can get the hardmode ores after killing wof) and remind me how you get a demon/nightmare pick. Also stop being petty just cause you were wrong. And stop comparing queen freaking bee to wof. Queen bee is designed so you can kill her at any point in progression, just like deerclops. Stop acting like me asking him to fight queen bee "early" is a problem. He is already WAY prepared enough for it anyways.
I think in the caves and cliffs update Mojang revamped the ore distribution so you could actually find huge ore veins of iron and copper, sadly no diamonds though :(
you should try make artificial biomes of suggested colours sometime in the series

I always feel like its a waste to make the golden critter food. Yeah 48 minutes is nice but way to often I end up dying within the 48 minutes. Also I can get bacon way way more easy. I always like to place my golden critters in a tank and just have them for decoration.... Maybe if I have like 5+ I will turn some into food but generally I find it kind of a waste for a super rare gold critter.

Idk why are u going warding plus lucky? i think menacing and lucky mix will give u optimal dmg or go full warding
I put Menacing on accessories that exclusively buff damage, e.g. the emblems, recon scope, etc - All other accessories have warding or lucky to boost defence and critical strike chance 😀 Then it's a healthy mix of everything 😀

For goodness’s sake, buy another piggy bank to bring along with you so you can stop chugging stuff in the trash and actually profit from these looting expedition and sell the extra stuff.
