This Mushroom Kingdom is amazing, genuinely hope that over time Super Nintendo World (Really should've been an IRL Nintendo Land..) starts to become this version.
I didn't even notice sky station music was at the end it was hidden in plain sight and I didn't realize it also is that even sky station I can barely recognize it
I really doubt it is. If they wanted to reference that in such a short musical riff, they would have actually made sure the melody/motif was heard and recognizable and not some generic orchestral riff, this dude is really stretching with Fossil Falls and Sky Station
The first notes when Mario gets sucked into the clear pipe remind me of the title theme from NSMBWii, which would explain the "bah" at the end of the clip, but maybe it's just my imagination.
I think the Fossil Falls and Sky Station "references" are MASSIVE stretches, those sound more like generic movie orchestral licks and their duration is so short with no noticeable sign of the main melody/motif of either of the songs being played. Other than that, the way you mixed and matched up the OG songs to almost exactly match the movie score is amazing
I get your point but I disagree, the composers have clearly taken so much care over referencing songs that’s there’s no way the two orchestral licks at the start and the end are purely coincidental

Fossil Falls is definitely there, you can hear it from the beginning. If you listen to the full track, "Welcome to the Mushroom Kingdom," it's really obvious. However, I can't seem to figure out how Sky Station plays during the ending.
I'm pretty sure that the music during Mario in the Clear Pipe sounds like something that appeared in a Mario game before, too, but I'm not sure what. Maybe something Galaxy or 3D World related?
