    I love this! Would you say that titanium is similar to stainless steel to work with, or is it a little softer?

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před rokem +1

      I've not tried stainless, I'll try that next. This was tough, springy and hard to cut 😥 quite disappointed, cos I really like the look of it...

    As always, gorgeous! Is this this type of wire more difficult, stiff to work with? Hugs to Gracie girl!

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před rokem

      Aw thank you. Yes this was really tough, hard to shape and cut (ended up using old tools) but it's so pretty 😅 bending the wires around the back was a nightmare too 🙄

    How do you know what stone shape, and colour or wire silver or copper?

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před 11 měsíci

      Hi, the materials are in the description, I've used a teardrop shape, I've also used titanium but you can use silver or copper, up to you 👍

  • @denisemurray412
    @denisemurray412 Před 2 měsíci

    So , in the beginning, you're wrapping over two wires going up and only one wire going down?

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, that’s so the weave looks the same on both sides. You can do what ever weave you want as long as it holds it all together well 👍

  • @simplyelegantfromyana2884

    As always - amazing! Can you please tell me what kind of material you have? It doesn't look like silver. Is it nickel silver, steel or titanium?

    • @sandywall5266
      @sandywall5266 Před rokem

      I'm pretty sure she mention titanium at the beginning. I found sometimes titanium can come in different shades sometimes they're more in the Silverside and sometimes they're more of a goldish colour

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před rokem

      Titanium, I read it was good for sensitive skin as it's nickel free and a friend on Facebook showed me a piece she made and I though it was silver, so I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, it's very springy and tough to handle...looks nice though 😁

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před rokem

      Yes titanium, I've not seen the golden version yet. I think you can heat treat it (but I may havr imagining that) 😅 haha, thank you

    • @sandywall5266
      @sandywall5266 Před rokem

      @@KellyJonesJewellery I figured they should all be the same shade of titanium but I've now learned to go to my local feed supplier where they sell wire to pick out my shades of titanium. I prefer them to be closer to the silver or cool tone.

    • @KellyJonesJewellery
      @KellyJonesJewellery  Před rokem

      Ooo ok, yes. Is your titanium really quite tough on your hands, like springy and hard (even though I bought the soft wire) 😅
