I like how they made Kenobi a jerk in this show but not intentionally. Leia raised with the finest tutors, highest standard of life all while her brother barely knows galactic standards and toils in the desert...good one Kenobi.
That was done in the original trilogy when Lucas decided to make Leia Luke’s sister. Then the prequels had Obi be the cause of their mismatched conditions. The show had its own issues, but that one is simply old baggage.
@yannym4605 if we had not had Lucas make the prequels and show it was a choice to give one sibling a good life and the other... less of a good life it would have been less painful. The fact that this show doubled down on it was the cherry on top.

i have a friend who has been really critical of recent star wars and marvels projects, over the past 3 year i've been defending a lot of mediocre movies and shows. i am bias, i love star wars but that kidnapping scene was in defensible.

Okay, that chasing was something else, but of anything that could go horribly wrong, that was probably the best thing and I didn't even notice it the first time I watched. I'm gonna chalk this one up to bad. Editing and limited resources that occur when working with child actors. They must have felt like they needed a chase scene, but forgot that they had a tiny toddler that was being chased. And this wasn't a cartoon
