- Florida State won its fifth straight game with a 45-38 victory over in-state rival Florida. The Seminoles improved to 9-3 on the season and swept the other 'Big 3' Florida schools for the 11th time since 1993. FSU posted its seventh straight 200-yard rushing game, tying a school record and producing the longest streak in the nation in 2022. Running back Trey Benson scored a career-high three rushing touchdowns and registered his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season while quarterback Jordan Travis accounted for 353 yards of total offense and three touchdowns. The defense held UF scoreless in the third quarter, forcing three consecutive three-and-outs to start the second half, and allowed only 47 passing yards after halftime.

Brings a tear watching this. These boys have fought hard over the past few years to get to this point and in my opinion are just getting started. Norvell is doing what he said from the beginning. Agreed. Just think, after all the this Sam McCall is transferring because he's not happy with the program and coaches and his PT (8 games) wasn't enough for a true freshman. The kid is missing out on something special happening at FSU IMO.

Stay invested for the climb. There's a wide gulf between respectable and dominant in the CFB FBS. FSU is back to respectable thanks to Norvell, staff & players buying in. Dominant is coming. Might be several years before we break through, but the trajectory is evident.

I have been a Nole for 45 years. As much as I love our dynasty teams (yes, plural) I believe I love this 2022 team the most. The cliche "refuse to lose" is overworked, but that is how Jordan played this game. And the passion that Coach Norvell brings...

Coach Norvell is bringing genuine confidence and excitement to this team. Jimbo crushed these guys and this football program with his BS over Texas A&M. Norvell took a crushed organization and created something so magnificent to watch. God, it’s great to be a Seminole!

We struggled against an unranked team who lost to Vandy. VANDERBILT defense held the Gators to fewer points than we did. We were fortunate. We still have a ways to go before we can look at ACC championships. I still will always root for my Noles I'm just not a Homer and I'm just being a realist.
