To add more volume, separate some of her curls and have her go upside down and shake her hair out and the root. Place hand at the root and shake when hair is completely dried. It will also be very good for her scalp, it can feel weird when the hair is flat on the scalp after it’s dried

Have her go upside down while u diffuse the top. That will also add more volume to the curls
Also a volumizing mouse at the top and moisturize mousse at the bottom will help keep it from being heavy and dry.
I also like 2chic moisture elixir to shine moisturize and give a light soft hold (green bottle)
My 6 yr old has 3a-3b, waist length hair

I wish my daughter’s hair would lay flat like tht but for some reason it won’t. Her hair is an Afro. It’s so hard to maintain. Do u have any tips for me if possible?

Aww, there are so many different types of textures and curls! Recently I have been seeing that the Shae Moisture line is really good for hair with low porosity.

Don’t wish your daughters hair to be anything it isn’t cause that’s gonnarub off on her you’d be better looking at other videos tbh but don’t go wishing for anything else Afro’s are beautiful

Celebrate her Afro, don't try to make it something else, you'll ruin her hair and self esteem. Try Mixed Chicks products. Wash her hair with a sulfate free clarifying shampoo, squeeze as much water out of her hair as you can, then apply conditioner and detangle her hair with a brush or comb, and let it sit until you wash the rest of her. After her bath, only pat and squeeze dry her hair with a super absorbent towel (like a Terry cloth, cotton shirt, or a towel that has never been washed in fabric softener), then apply the leave in conditioner. Start with the ends then go up, try to avoid her scalp. Section her hair out to do this as well.
