I couldn't agree more. I feel like Ryland gets shouted down or glossed over, and it makes me feel really bad for him. It is usually Jerid and Shame talking to each other and then every now and then Ryland and Chris say a few words, but mostly Shane and Jerid just take over the entire thing.

Re. 'chub rub': it is an incredibly normal thing (particularly with women) because, unless you have wide-set hips, most people's thighs touch at least a little bit, which causes painful rubbing, especially in hot weather. It's not just something that happens to large people. My hack for this problem, if I'm wearing a skirt or dress, is to wear plain cycling shorts underneath. It prevents thigh-chafing, and has the added bonus of providing modesty if your skirt blows up in the wind! :D
Yes!!! I wear cotton biking shorts or capris and as a very fat lady I haven't had that rub issue in decades
I am a woman and I’ve never had to deal with chub rub. Women who have a “thigh gap” do not have to deal with chub rub. It sounds very painful and I’m sorry for anyone who has to deal with it.
I’m at an awkward weight where if I gain a pound or two I get “chub rub” and if I lose a couple pounds it goes away. Super strange. Anyways, I’ve found that putting baby oil on my legs right before I get out of the shower helps so much and lasts all day. Especially if I’m outside walking around and sweating, it helps me more than keeping the area dry with baby powder or something. Being from Ohio, I’ve learned to embrace constantly feeling slightly sticky and sweaty in the summer so the oil just kind of blends in with that mess.
Deodorant works well too for chub rub and your right when Im skinny or heavier I still get it
It's even worse if you shave that area 😒
I get sad when the podcast ends, I feel like it goes by so fast. I wouldn’t mind longer episodes occasionally, if you guys would be open to it!

I can't even express how much joy your videos brought to me when I was a teen going through high school. Those were some rough times in my life and I looked forward to every single one of your videos. They always made my day and put a smile on my face when all else failed. I loved the characters you used to play. I loved the corny little skits you'd write out. All of it. Don't let the cancel culture define your ability as a creator or a person. Getting two more kittens might be easier than just getting one; Because they entertain and wear each other out! I recently discovered this and am SO glad I got a set of siblings!
I second this!! I have 2 eight month old kittens and they are brother and sister and have always got cats in pairs, I find it helps them socially as well!
Yes, we have done this with dogs too and getting two was way easier than having just one for the same reasons. They also don't fret at night or whenever you have to leave them alone because they have company.

For the chub rub, there is literally a lifesaver product called “body glide”- imagine a deodorant style stick you rub between your thighs so they “glide”. Game changer.
I use it for the beach to prevent rash from the sand and yes it’s great

I've watched Not Cool too when I was younger and (after I pretended the jokes that grossed me out weren't there lol) I loved it, mainly that specific something that only Shane can create and add hit me so hard in the heart.
Long story short I'm thrilled by the idea of Shane creating a movie or short again ❤ and I will definitely be there to watch it :)

Shane never EVER feel embarrassed about your old videos! They LITERALLY saved my life growing up. All the time I would spend in my room to get away from the family trauma, I would watch you and spend HOURS laughing my ass off in my room! You made me so happy! I’m 27 and I’ve been watching Shane since 2008 - being a teen was AWFUL but listening to Shane share his experiences with bullies, body weight, and more helped me when I was growing up. Watching his videos made me feel like I had found a home 💜

It’s been almost 4 years and it is still extremely hard to talk about and I have PTSD because of it. Seeing you bring awareness, sharing your own story and providing resources helps so many people and I hope you know that. I’m so sorry for what you went through ❤️

My kids introduced me to Shane Dawson lol! I'm 38, and my kids are 18 and 16. They have watched his videos for a few years. I switch between shanes podcast and the sip every day on my hour commute to work and back. They are the only podcasts I listen to. I'm new to being a poddience member(not sure if there would be 2 d's in podience)🤔🤣. Love 2 u all and to the sip!!❤
I love Ryland’s recaps, but something that kind of irks me is that all the guys interrupt him while he is recapping. Ryland is so good at doing the recaps and I would love to see one where he doesn’t get interrupted.

Yes! I understand them interrupting him in the beginning to get ideas etc. But Ryland definitely knows what he's doing lol

I started going to the bar with my ex at the time(I'm 22) and I was working one night so I showed up pretty late, mind you I'm a regular there to this day. She one day looks at me like she'd seen a ghost, goes to hold up a finger and says "hold". I sat there at the bar with my drink she had already given me and I waited. She showed me a picture of this girl who was missing who looked EXACTLY like me, gave me fucking CHILLS. It's a thing and every person does have a doppelganger I believe.
