The star on the tootsie pop wrapper meant you got a free one when I was a kid! It was a thing in Oregon growing up, for sure and all of us kids knew it! I’m 30 now, so this was in the early 2000’s when I was a kid and Every single time we got a star we would be so stoked and run down the street to our local market it was called “Steve’s market” the owners name was Steve lol but plaid pantry was close to us and they did it too those were the closest stores to us like walking distance so we would book it down and get a free one! EVERY single time. I’m shook.

I’m one month shy of my 57th birthday. I definitely remember walking to the only store in town, down my street with change in my hand. Purple (Grape)Tootsie Pops were my favorite! Somehow, I managed to get a star on my wrapper almost each time! You were allowed to pick a free one, color (flavor), your choice! Sweet memories!

I just like how it feels like he’s just talking about a product he likes without switching into salesman mode like everyone else. They’re required to say certain things which is fine. I like the podcast, not sure what to tell you. The dynamic between everyone is entertaining. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it?

This was the funniest podcast I’ve seen from you guys! Literally hysterically laughing at Jerids reaction during the food segment 😂
So Mythbusters DID determine that there was technically enough room on the door for both Rose and Jack, BUT they would have had to balance their weight just right, and Rose would have had to think to remove her life vest and manage to float it under the door to give them enough buoyancy to stay far enough out of the water to avoid hypothermia. So while they technically COULD have both survived, the odds of them figuring it out fast enough in freezing conditions after just surviving a sinking ship were almost nonexistent.
Also the producer of the movie, he said he didn't want Jack to survive so he made him look like he's sleeping peacefully and he's not... sadly the titanic movie is based off the true event that happened 110 years ago, don't know if you knew that 😅... shane saying it's not upsets me cause all those people died because of a selfish rich owner of the ship wanted to save so many people that are worth saving, even John Jacob aster passed away, his wife.and their baby lived and he didn't... also Jack and Rose aren't real well.they are but they never met on the ship when that happened irl

i’ve noticed with myself and others the ones with childhood trauma are the ones that have different “versions” of themselves based on who’s around but that’s bc for a lot of us growing up we learned to not trust people until it’s earned and we seem to be more hyper aware of energies. but the ones that get to experience our 100% personalities are rare but also very grateful to know they’re one of the many few. my small group that i feel most comfortable with that get the most laid back non guarded version of me realize that and make it a point to encourage me for who i am! 🥰

There was technically room on the door to fit two people, but with the weight difference and the balance of the door they couldn't both be on the door. It would've tipped over. I think there's even a deleted scene showing this. Cameron knew exactly what he was doing filming this movie.

My Gay friend married a woman, had 2 kids with her & then eventually left her for a man. He married her because his parents are super religious & never accepted him when he had boyfriends. I can see why he did it but it's awful for his ex-wife, who is now a single mum.

That girl in the shower resonated with me hardcore. I had roommates and came home one night so drunk I went in the shower, sat down, and passed out for 6 hours!!!! NO ONE checked on me either. When I woke up to freezing cold water. Every single wall in my rooms upstairs where water stained. I agree with her. How do you just leave someone up there and not check to see if they were okay. By the way, I have been sober for over 20 years. LOL And Ryland holding the dress up for everyone to see on his phone it couldn't get anymore black and blue.

The "rumor" for me, when I was a kid, was that you had to collect a certain amount of Tootsie Pops labels with stars on them and then send them in to the manufacturer to get your free Tootsie Pops. I grow up in the 80's and saved a shit load of those labels. Never sent them in hahaha! My mom wasn't giving me an envelope and a stamp. It was the 80's. I can't even remember if there was a mailing address to even send them to.
