I love how confident you still are even when they screwed up your hair. Days before my birthday, I asked for a shoulder-length hair cut with a picture of what I wanted it to look like, as well as wispy bangs. At the end of the visit, my hair was cut up to my chin with BLUNT bangs that did not look AT ALL what I asked for 😭 I have no idea why so many barbers absolutely mess up short hair cuts, and it made me so sad for months until I found your videos 😢 They’re so relatable, and honestly they made me feel so much better about myself that if you could rock it with confidence, I could too. My stylist just accidentally cut my hair way to short the literal DAY before I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Nursing and 4 hours before I was taking my graduation photos. I wanted it at about my collar bones, maybe an inch longer (it was at my mid back at this point) and I specifically warned her (because she was newer, it’s Paul Mitchell which is a school for cosmetology students to learn, and I’ve never had her before as my stylist) that “Hey just so you know. I have 2b/2c hair. My shrinkage is about 30-50% depending on how long my hair is due to weight. Curly girlies will get it). She was so sweet and fun to talk to my social anxiety of having to rein in my ADHD and keep conversation for 2 hours literally melted away. I actually found myself enjoying a hair appointment for once!
