Good review, but you missed the key plot line of the story: the dead beat father (Mike) that barely ever saw his son wound up killing his son without knowing who he was. The son recognized him when he pulled the gun, but his pause allowed enough time for the father to pull his gun and kill him first. Isis' imaginary world came from the grief of Mike killing their son. She used drugs to escape the reality of the fact that she chose Mike over Sha and the loss of her son was the outcome.

This is by far one of my favorite Jayz songs.. The story is crazy and the double entendre of saying.. Mike killed his son physically and not being an active father is killing the kids mentally!

A track that's completely slept on! Some say Jay lacks depth & introspect lyrically, but "You Must Love Me" kicks that criticism to the curb. His voice on "Mama Loves Me" sounds like he's about to breakdown crying at any minute.
