      @William White cherry picking? i mentioned that jay elec quoted the bible. about the born of God not sinning, the spirit life cannot sin. it doesnt mean the flesh wont sin, but when you do you lose your hedge of protection.
      I John 1:
      6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
      7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
      8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
      9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
      10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us

    • @gaseredtune5284
      @gaseredtune5284 Před 4 lety

      I John 2 :2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
      2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
      3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
      4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
      5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
      6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Sadly still after the religion forbid enslaving people. This indecent act came back after prophet mohammeds and his companions death.

    I know this is a Jay Electronica and Jay-Z track, but was I the only one waiting on a Andre`3000 verse.. especially towards the end.. But all in all this was a great track... nice mellow flow. Hopefully they will add dre` 3000, Nas and Black Thought on the remix...
    Sonically I knew there was something familar about how this tune made me feel.. Take a listen to this track from Outkast. czcams.com/video/uqhJfjbNuQg/video.html

      Settle down, it’s a joke. WTT was half Kanye and half Jay Z. This was basically half Jay Elec and half Jay Z. So I said WTT2 and then instead of “electric boogaloo” I said “Electronica Boogaloo” because Electronica is close to electric. Don’t take it so seriously, I’m not comparing its quality to WTT, just that it’s half Jay Z and then joking with Jay Elect’s name.

Lot more on the music than just a tune. 4:44 was like this for me as well had to listen to it multiple times before I could truly appreciate it knowledge being dropped. I said the exact same to my partner who was claiming jay z swept him. It's not a competition, they were speaking two complete different messages on the same subject on the same track, that's true art

    • @iceman10129
      @iceman10129 Před 4 lety +1

      @@soichampion88 Im sorry to tell you man, but this is not "hip hop", especially not hip hop at its purest which would be going back to the roots. This is about as far as you can go from pure without leaving the category. This is essentially beat poetry set to an ambient track. Something you might hear from theatre students or at a coffee shop. Hip Hop at its purest would sound like Afrika Bambaataa.

    • @soichampion88
      @soichampion88 Před 4 lety +8

      @@iceman10129 So with your logic, songs similar to this from Mos Def, Griselda Records, Common, DOOM, etc are not hip hop - they're lounge music? Cmon son. Pure hip hop does not have a distinct sound, it is the way the art is communicated and conveyed which makes it pure. Afrika Bambaata is pure hip hop just as Public Enemy is. Wu Tang Clan is pure hip hop just as Mobb Deep is. I can go on forever. I think what you are referring to is the actual instrumental. Al sampled a song that has lounge elements, but that does not make it a lounge song or lounge music. This is hip hop.

    • @soichampion88
      @soichampion88 Před 4 lety +1

      @@iceman10129 I also think you are mistakenly confusing the definition of 'pure' with 'traditional'. You are speaking about traditional hip hop history, and I am speaking about the actual form of hip hop itself. The pureness.
