FOR THE MEGALODOG BOSS RIFT: There is a cheese where you can go to the side, wait for him to use his dive under attack, and it’ll essentially force him to ring out and instakill. It works best at the beginning cuz that’s when he’s most likely to use the move. if you’re a destiny player and know of rhulk cheese it’s similar to that.
My tip: t’s just way easier and a LOT less time to just get a job and work for a few hours to earn enough real money to just buy Agent Smith. You’ll waste way more time doing this in-game.
The way I did it was use finns broken 0 to death combo Side attack - Side attack - up attack - neutral - up speical - (up special or side special) No matter how broken the ai was I was able to combo them into this even as a group of 2 and it worked so well
Waiting for the last rift to do the easiest difficulty and get the last boss i need for Smith. No way i'm doing the Looney ones, or the Insanity on the last one. And no way i'm beating the Shark one on Insanity... Unless they seriously reevaluate how they design the rift events, I am NOT doing this again...

I actually beat the dog boss with shaggy and didn’t even touch him lol soon as the match started I ran off stage jumped high as I could n started charging the dog did the under water animation off stage nd just died with full health

9:23 Use the extended dodge perk, with Tom and Jerry and "go fish". Takes a whole lot longer but thats another option for the people struggling with it. I beat it that way. Also Mortys spaceship. You can keep the megalodog on there. Either jump off, or be the bait, lose a life and get the kill.

Instead of the Morty strat u used it's easier to use his spaceship like your original intention. As soon as he goes into the ground and you see his fin use the space ship. He will get stuck and die off top. Usually he will start with the move as soon rift starts, but u can just Avoid til he does
For garnet and Steven use the shaggy Strat in the video and try to split them up as much as you can so you can fight one person once the other reaches you dodge off stage. For the Tom and reigndog you can do the same thing but what i did is since I got a shark hat for bugs I dove in the water on the side and then any time I popped up attacked and dove back down to not die over and over

I’m having an issue on one of the early, easy levels in the first rift. It asks me to do like 5 neutrals and ten upwards or somethin. But every character kills the enemies too fast to get all the hits I need.
Try using gems of the wrong type. The right gems boost your power so much that you kill on easier difficulties very quickly. Wrong gems don't apply the power bonus so you do normal damage and have time to do more attacks.
@@woahningenius I was able to without anyone but if you want to complete the looney ones and get the smith skin you’ll probably need help especially if you don’t have lvl 10 gems
@@woahningenius i played on my own and i got 19 bosses. I only did Insanity, no Looney. And i didn't beat Megalodog on Insanity. When the last rift comes out, the easiest difficulty will give me the 20th boss. Note you probably need lvl8 gems to beat the Smith rift boss on insanity, at least for attack bonus, otherwise you can't do enough damage to kill him before the timer runs out.
I am really struggling with the Marvin and LeBron node in the Shark Week rift in insanity, and I really need to beat it as it's the only incomplete rift I have right now (until I am able to unlock insanity and looney difficulty for other rifts.)
@@braingamer5820 what i did is hide on the goals as bugs and use his safe and rocket over and over till they got low enough and then used his air up attack to finish them as it has really good launch
Pls help me figure out how to beat megalodog in rift 8. Can only use Arya, tom&jerry and garnet. I’ve had the most luck with Arya but can’t seem to beat it 😫
So do the thing I mentioned in the video with the one gem but since you can’t do Morty do Tom and Jerry use his neutral special to shoot Jerry than dodge through him and retrieve Jerry rinse and repeat. If you don’t already I’d recommend mapping the neutral special to a back button to more easily use it when moving fast

shaggy beats megalodog pretty easy too bsically same as the morty strat. dodge through him pick up a sandwich and throw or dodge then throw. managed a win with a level 7 attack gem but barely. level 8 and 9 was much easier. With morty not sure if it was patched but if you can get him to dive onto the spaceship you can cheese it that way.
Got smith right before this video and gotta say he may be one of the funnest characters to play as. Hoping to get the matrix code skin with this video but idk if it’s even possible
Beat wonder woman while avoiding jason, jason is slow, try using characters with aerial combos like harley quinn, wonder woman or jason and throw them up till they get eliminated

Forward+⏹️x2 , up 🔼 jump forward, press up+⏹️, press up 🔼 jump again, repeat the last step and you just killed them. The enemy AI isnt very good at scaping aerial combos, you can try too with shaggu, wonder woman or harley quinn
You could also just join someone who has beat a boss fight and just play that last level so you get the point for the event. Could anyone help me with that? I will subscribe to you

Another option which I used on the omni rift is using the special neutral of tom

I'm personally just going to wait until he is added to the fighter store myself. Rifts is just to get him early.
As long all your gems are lvl 7 and know someone that already has agent smith, u can skip insanity stages and go straight to the boss

Hi I have trouble completing rifts I’m almost there I just need someone to help me with completing them together to progress further

Try using gems of the wrong type. The right gems boost your power so much that you kill on easier difficulties very quickly. Wrong gems don't apply the power bonus so you do normal damage and have time to do more attacks.
Do what he says but keep the defense one and then not only are you basically invulnerable you can take as much time as needed getting the attacks done

Can anyone tell me why certain rifts are just unavailable? Am I just an idiot or is there something I'm supposed to do?
It’ll say you need a certain level of gems on some but not all levels are available on all rifts I believe the max is 3-4 levels
