Jacob Markstrom is a Devil!!!!!!!

Tom Fitzgerald has done it again, and pulled off the Jacob Markstrom deal while giving up not a whole lot. Kevin Bahl and a 1st rounder in 2025 while Calgary retains 30 percent of Markstrom's contract.
In other news, Edmonton defeats Florida in Game 5 to bring the series to 3-2 in favour of Florida with Game 6 coming on Friday and why I think the media bias towards the Oilers is unhinged.

Was really hoping for Ullmark. This old man better not pull a Vitek.

I think trying to get Ullmark was a stretch. Not that it wouldn't have been pretty cool to get him, but I think we would have had to sacrifice more. Boston is in a better position to compete yearly and this would probably want more valuable pieces. I'm happy either way.

There's so many people being negative about the Markstrom deal it's wild. Amazing deal and we got a veteran goaltender with some solid numbers, and of course experience! I'm super excited, definitely getting a Markstrom jersey sometime this off-season once they confirm his number won't change since Foote's got it haha
