  • We were on a road trip around Australia and hit whale-watching season! July is when humpback whales move from the cold southern waters to the north, passing by the Aussie coasts. While driving from south to north in Western Australia, we saw so many whales! Here are some cool spots to see whales in WA:
Shell House Lookout: Just south of Kalbarri, we saw a super playful humpback whale right by the cliff! It was so close, jumping out of the water, and we even heard it sing!
Coral Bay: This place is famous for snorkeling with whale sharks and manta rays. We saw two whales here while snorkeling, right next to the boat! They swam right underneath us! It was so amazing, we couldn't even speak! Definitely one of the best moments ever.
Oyster Stack in Exmouth National Park: This is an awesome snorkeling spot, and we saw a whole bunch of whales with our drone! You can see so many whales here almost every day!
