Understanding the Recommended Practices of Battery Load Testing

This webinar discusses how batteries are often considered the heart of a substation, playing a vital role in providing a source of backup power to operate critical protection systems in the event of a fault.

Nice recap of the IEEE recommended maintenance and testing of VLRA & VLA batteries! Reading through the standards (dry in nature) is a challenge in itself so your presentation helped me solidify what I had read and helped connect the dots! Also the contrast between NERC and IEEE testing intervals was a great point! Just wanted to let you know your shared knowledge was absorbed and much appreciated by someone!
