We purchased a jersey wooly in spring 2018 , she weighs about 6.5 pounds, I've been questioning is she just larger than average or not a real jersey wooly whatever that means. More of a curious question than anything. Lovely video thanks.
Also is she too old to breed now?

That can vary but usually after 1 year they are harder to conceive

Are they more prone to hair blockage than other breeds?

I've been breeding Jerseys for many years. We've never had any with blockages.
I offer black oil sunflower seeds during moulting and although it's an absolute fur-splosion when they blow their coat blockages isn't a concern.

@jitmac565 Our oldest jersey was 10! 8-10 is pretty typical. We have an 8 year old doing great right now!

@@klover_leaf oh that's wonderful..are there other breeds that live as long as them cuz I don't see much rabbit breeds exceeding 6 lol..
