I enjoyed this fine performance of a tune I am too familiar with after playing it a few hundred times for the dances of a local folk dance/contra dance society (I am the bass player).
We need more of this! I think that women are not taken seriously as musicians in this country! It seems like they are to be relagateted to being singers out in front or to the side as backup singers and that they are not taken for granted as true musicians!!!!
