- Mrs. Colorberry uses sparkly resin to make geode wall art. She loves the colors and high gloss sheen that comes from painting with resin. One of her pieces can take up to a month to complete because she pours each layer by hand, before going back and adding crystals for a final, shimmering touch.

When one of these takes about a month to complete, and considering how expensive resin is, plus all the other materials she uses including the crystals, yeah you want to get paid for your materials, skills, effort and time. :)

Could get a real crystal the same size for half the price. It would be like if I sold plastic wedding rings at twice the cost of diamonds, but it's worth it cuz I'm an artist.
