Nice little thing, thanks for the update! So many people who by these little things are sponsored by or trying to sell them so you don't get an honest every day look into the first teething issues. Looks to have suited you rather well.
To eliminate discomfort to the back from the straps, lift the bed & run the seatbelt straps behind the seat then through the gap in the middle of the seat. Connect drivers strap to passengers & vise versa to keep the connectors laying flush to bottom of the seat. Much more comfortable. I hope this helps.
I've had this exact one for over a year now and the shifter loves to get out of adjustment. Sending unit in the fuel tank likes to go out. Make sure you put washers in the roof or it will blow off when trailering. Had to redo some of the wiring on it as it was just asking to be ripped out if caught on something, especially the tail light wiring. Never force the drain plug if it's stuck or you will literally crack all the aluminum around it. Seat belt sending unit can fail as it makes you feel like something is actually wrong with it when it won't run right.
Looks like you have seat belts connected so you don’t have to use them when you don’t need them. Where the drivers side buckles into follow the wire the connector is right under the front of the dump bed. Unhook it and the problem is solved at least it worked for me.
Due for my first oil change and there is controversy on whether or not to use conventional or full synthetic oil. The manual doesn't specify which and someone mentioned to me that full synthetic oil can cause clutch slippage. Any recommendations?
Hi there, seems that i mustve got some bad gas from the station. I think theres water in the tank causing me to bog out.. actually cant run right now. How and where do i drain out the fuel?! Thanks in advance
The inverter you installed in the glove box, you said you hooked that up under the hood. Did you connect that to the wiring where the winch is wired to?
Tractor supply or any good hardware or auto parts store should have metric bolts. I only use non ethanol fuel in all my small engines. It cost more but worth it in the end.
Hi Kevin, just bought one of these. have trouble with the shift not wanting to engage in reverse, was wondering how you accessed the adjustment by the transaxsle to make adjustment. Thanks
If I remember right I made the adjustment under the hood. I put it in N and centered the cable adjustment. I have learned that to shift it easily there can't be any pressure on the transmission. Shifts much better if your foot is on the brake. If you roll to a stop and try to shift it will go hard. If you stop using the brake it will shift easily. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Loosened the the cables on both ends (shifter and transmission) centered both the shifter and the transmission lever and retightened the cables. I have noticed that if the is any pressure on the drivetrain that it makes it difficult to shift.

We still use the seat belts quite often. It is required if we go off our property or on public roads. Thanks for commenting

Thanks I will watch for those problems and try to prevent them. So far no problems with mine.

I used regular oil just for that reason.

Never had a fuel problem. You may need to pull the fuel tank and pump out to make sure you get it all.
Under the hood there a speed ANIMATOR unplug it. NO MORE SEAT BELT PROBLEMS

Yes. That was close and good heavy wires.
Where do you recommend getting parts for the Coleman UTV? The bolts on mine are gone and I need to get new ones. Also, what grade gas do you use?

@@kevincrawford2027 Thank you. I will check with those venues for bolts and fill her up with some non ethanol fuel.

When I put mine on R sometimes it doesn't go in and make a noise on transmission. How did you adjust it?

Where did you get the trailer hitch insert? Nothing in the stores seem to fit ours.
I had to thin one down to fit. I have a milling machine so it was easy for me. It could be done with a grinder but would take a wile.
@@kevincrawford2027 Thank you!
Hello Kevin what colors does the Coleman ut400 come in?
I don't know.
@@kevincrawford2027 they seem like well built machines!
@@braydenlowe2024they are not good mechanics because the belt brakes on mine Everytime i put a new belt on mine
Thanks for the review, but the music was irritating and I won’t watch anymore that’s gonna keep going. Chimes in bells I can’t hear anything.
Any issues refueling it?
No. I have always refilled it with a gas can. Never filled it at a gas pump.
