I live in British Columbia, Canada and suffering big time from SAD. I replaced all my lightbulbs with the Phillips Ultra Def and the Sun Filled from GE. What a difference already! I ended up finding your website, now I just found your youtube channel! Light is a huge deal in our mental health! Looking for full spectrum recessed lights for the ceiling and SAD lamps! It is! That's awesome to hear! I couldn't agree more, light is such an underrated health component. The Philips UD are great for the price, good choice!
Yeah I'm not sure if anyone makes recessed lighting utilizing sunlike diodes... I'll find em if they do!

Thank you for your videos and website. I was looking into the Lastar 2-in-1 lamp CM022, but I see the lux is around 5000 in your database. Is the Lastar not as advertised? Thx.

They claim 12,000 lux with that lamp at 12 inches but yes we measured it on it's brightest setting at only around 5,200 lux. Most lamps don't quite live up to their claims, doesn't make them bad lamps per se, but it is dishonest!

I agree, the Sky seems like the better choice between the two.

It definitely is I think! It's a bit less "comfortable" but overall the better choice.
