About Sweet Briar Farm
We are a small farm located in Central/Northern Michigan. We farm every inch of our 6 acres. We breed Registered Dairy Goats, Dexter Cattle, and Heritage Hogs. Clean healthy food is important to us and we like to produce the majority of our food on the farm and we grow and raise enough to sell to local customers. In 2019 we added honeybees to the farm and have had as many as 30 active hives producing honey for us.
Our goats include Nubian goats, Mini Nubian, and Nigerian Dwarf goats.
Our Heritage Hogs include: Registered Kune Kune and Hereford.

Thanks for the video. There's a lot to think about with raising beef cows. I'm learning every day. I don't know if you've heard of the prime act in Washington but it would be nice to be able to sell cuts from custom butchers.

I have not. But I agree. We actually plan to just sell whole and half’s from now on. It’s way easier. The local guy cuts his custom beef and pork but has to buy USDA meat to cut and sell out of his counter. Makes no sense.
