BTW, serious historians have pretty much stopped using phrases like 'Dark Ages' and "Renaissance' because they are so meaningless. Arguably, Siena was out of the Middle Ages by 1250, while you can argue pretty strongly Russia was still in it in until Alexander II freed the serfs in 1861. So, 'when did it stop' is like asking 'When did Dark stop his aggression and start playing a macro game ?'.
I just wish this tournament was held somewhere other than saudi arabia.

Well, ESL is owned by Saudi Arabia so there is no choice. If Blizzard was to care that much about SC2 like they should, then we probably still have Blizzcon till today.
