The 350 was from an era before Yeezy Brand moved to a more organic, living design language. This is literally an update with the new philosophy. The peach splashes give it a cuttlefish / Lionfish look to me. I’m a fan 🔥
350 V2 was from the Cut & Sew. Visvim, Fear Of God Era. It’s served it’s purpose well.
I agree it’s crazy how the shoes resemble living creatures. These shoes are so life like.Do you see this in any other designs?

Honestly, I’ve been a real big fan of this model ever since the red CMPCT came out. I love The whole new look and in my opinion is right up there with the 350 V2. This new color is just what I wanted and they nailed it even tho I wanted an all black, this one is freaking sick. Cant wait to see more new color ways for the CMPCT and V2 MX.
And on top of everything they are the most comfortable out of all the Yeezy models in my opinion

not my favorite colorway but I also don't think it's bad. I don't have any cmpct so I want them. I'm just not sure if I should go for my real ultraboost TTS or .5 up since so many of my yeezys fit tight (talking about even when I go .5 size up for other models)

The Compacts are another example of Yeezy bringing people out of their comfort zone. Yes, these shoes will never top the 350. However, they bring a fresh update to a classic model.
We often complain about the over saturation of 350s. Here’s a response to it.
Although I won’t be going for these I can understand the desire to have it. Greats colors, comfortable, and durable.Everything I expect from my Yeezys.

Hot take but cmpct tops the 350s. They’re far more comfortable, they breathe with your feet, etc. it’s like they live with you, my regular 350s don’t do that. The compacts are the best silhouettes in the Yeezy brand imo

bro every single cmpct is so gas. and you are so right man i can say ive put my foot in every pair of yzys besides 750. Including the nsltd boots and others. Ccmpcts are the most comfortable yeezy model and they actually look so good on feet. I have both the og and slate red just copped this one today as well. they stay in the heavy rotation
I think they finally perfected the 350 with these.

Def true to size and the most comfortable pair of Yeezys I have ever owned. (out of 18 pairs)👀 They are a sleeper but real deal.

Love the colorway. The slate blue is nice but the brown throws me off, slate red is a little loud for me. Since these shoes have little structure, they need to stick to mature colors because they got that goofy bump on the top of the foot.

anyone that’s trying to cop these that got a wider foot, i recommend going up a whole half size unless you like a very snug fit. it wasn’t a painful shoe to wear, but i went my normal yeezy size (which is a 12) and i ended up selling them after 2 wears because it was a bit too snug on me. i’m trying for a size 12.5 instead 👍🏻
I have some yeezy 380 size 9 and they fit good and have some space what size should I get these cmpct’s in
@@agustincastillo8652 if they fit snug on your foot, get a 9.5. if you like snug fit shoes, these will be good for you. they’re sock style so they’re gonna form to your foot regardless, but i’d recommend going a 9.5

Actually like the Cmpct joints. I got a lot of black V2s so I don’t need these but I like em. I got the Slate Blues & they stay in rotation. For me it’s
1) OG slate Blue
2) Slate Carbon
3) Slate Red
That blue is hard tho

I just received these today and was so excited until I put them on my feet. You're right, they run true to size, so they're a little bit too big for me. I wish I'd seen this video sooner. :( Guess I have to resell them now.

I love black shoes but I’m not sure how I feel about this 350 V2 iteration. On one hand I like the color but I’m not sure about that sock lining styling of the upper with the infinity laces. It makes me feel like putting those on would be a problem for people with duck paddles for feet like me.
I have wide feet myself. If you size up it shouldn’t be a problem

Need to go a half size up or full size up if you have wide feet. The padding inside the shoes really hugs the foot tight if you wear thick socks.

They are lowkey fire shoes. But because I didnt own at least foam or slides for myself so I prefer them instead these 350. And 450 too.
I had to cop a personal in these Yeezy’s, only problem is I gotta be patient and wait until they are delivered. And I don’t trust Ups, FedEx, or any other delivery service until they arrive at the door

I copped the cmpct slate blues awhile back because I didn’t cop the beluga rfs, and I can’t go back to regular 350s now. I will try very hard to get these too, and will try to get the slate reds in the future too to complete the triad. I’m sorta glad the hype for them are not as high as regular 350s as it makes copping them easier and cheaper, but it’s also sad because they are amazing.

If you haven’t tried on the CMPCTs on, they’re way more comfortable than the V2s. IMO the slate reds are fire, with that olive green accent. I do own them. The way the laces run on top, rather than through the knit, makes a huge difference for me. On V2s I can feel the laces on my feet. The CMPCTs also have a crazy padding on top part of the foot that feels crazy. These also were TTS for me, maybe cause this shoe has no insole. This model is a must, pick your color way.

These are nice & the colorway reminds me of my 700V3 Clay. Which is a color combo I rly fw, love the earth tone on an all black shoe. I don't like solid black shoes as I don't vibe with fully emo foot colors, no hate, just a description.

I have the slates and I def think the CMPCT is slept on. One of the most if not the most comfortable in my rotation and the colorway is very versatile as well. I prefer this silhouette to the traditional 350s. May not get these because I have the slates already but if I didn't the carbon would be a must cop.

@@pdizzle1604 yep def gotta size down. I’m a 10.5 but have wide feet so I wear a 11 in some Yeezy models. 10.5 in the CMPCT got perfect for me.
@@andrewlivingston8821 I wouldn’t do more than a walk/slow jog in them. The lacing system and knit upper doesn’t do much to secure your foot in place.

First! Thanks bro. Was curious how these looked. The only thing bothering me is how the lace area bulges up because of the infinity laces and the sock upper forming to the hump on your foot. I know it’s the natural shape of the foot but the regular 350s just look better in the lace area. Is it only like this from a direct side view? It looks way better from above or straight on…hmmm I don’t know. Really wish you could try on YZYs first but you can always flip them even if you only get your $ back it’s like a return

@@Fitsbyfree You mean standing outside the Adidas store hoping to get a pair? If so I don't have the luxury to wait on line for shoes due to work. I use confirmed and it says "FINAL SALE" and no returns.. I'm in Canada also so maybe it's different where you are. I own quite a few and the 350 is one of my favorite silhouettes. I have the 350 Cinders (non reflective), the breds, belugas, beluga reflectives, 350 v2 light, 700 wave runners, onyx slides and just won the green glow slides. I really like the look of the 350 compacts off foot but every on foot review I get turned off by that big bulge in the lace area. I bet it's super comfortable because the bends in the laces are no longer resting against your feet since they are elevated above the shoe, but the sock upper just forms to your foot so much that it bulges the lace area up, and then the toe box continues on a downward slope instead of having some support to keep it lifted like the V2 350s do.... But there's a lot of YZYs that I originally am not sure about and then eventually seeing them in person change my mind. But also there's a lot of YZYs that look nice visually as an art piece, but are hard to wear or match to outfits.

I want to cop these so bad, but even this color way isn’t that great. Browns on black don’t mix too well, unless you just wear all black or plan specific outfits. I’d like to see these in a general color way so I can justify adding to my already wide and expensive collection haha.
In regards to fitting, my 350 v2s are size 11 and fit good but the toe box is very tight and even kinda chafes on the top of my toes. Should I try to get these in an 11 as well? Or do they fit more like the v2?

Go TTS - my tts is 9, i get my 350v2 in 9.5. I got the cmpt slate blue’s in my v2 size (9.5) and there was too much space.

I wear a size 11.5 to 12. I got these in 11 and they fit and feel good im nervous about after I wear them our though like over time they might hurt.

The pattern on top probably I prefer the original 350 v2 but the comfort on this is amazing 🤩. And they are true to size 100%
I think the reason it's not hitting with the people is because it has no swag points you need a tongue so the pants can stack and I hate infinity laces I need regular laces and I hope Yeezys get away from the sock shoe thing
