Couple years ago, brother bought a Hellcat, buddy took it for a spin when he brought it home, he'd left his license, cell and ANY identifying info at the house, same with his wife, in a car that had no identifying info got popped for 110 in a 55 on a rural highway. He and wife were separated, questioned for 20 min (while we're at the house about ready to go searching for a wreck) when he pulls back in. Cops got the same "story" from both, verified the car wasn't stolen, and let them drive back. Said they were just glad he just pulled over ('cause most don't). It's the most incredible luck I can imagine. I would have loved to watch body cam but our dept doesn't have em.
